  1. Well, I'm looking at the snorkels at http://www.rocky-road.com/pathfinder.html and they list - pickup 97-2000 - pathy 92-96 and of course safari http://www.safari4x4.com.au/docs/snorkel/nissan.html doesn't have anything for an R50. So, where's the r50 snorkel ??
  2. Folks at Ac said they don't carry one, can't seem to find this online. Anyone know where to look? thanks m
  3. An oil 'filter' relocation kit ?!? Really, that @!*% exists? PS. I want a f* snorkel, thanks
  4. Are those the AC rancho shocks also? Did you get new struts?
  5. I recently ordered and received the skid plates from BlackPanther and all I can say is the service, and quality of the product, is top-notch. I wouldn't be taking the time to say so online otherwise. L&P can take a lesson from these guy(s). In fact, I am going to (politely) ask this fellow in Manitoba to start a new product line: snorkels!!! Thanx
  6. I enquired at sales@arbusa.com and Radoje Spasojevic rspasojevic@arbusa.com replied the following > Safari 4X4 offers a Snorkel to fit the 1997-2001 Pathfinder models, but we do not have any information as to whether or not they will fit the Infiniti variant. I would recommend you contact Safari 4x4 directly for more information. Their web page for the Nissan Pathfinder/Navara snorkel is: http://www.safari4x4.com.au/docs/snorkel/ss720.htm If you have any further questions, please let me know. < Here's the link, this does appear like a good fit, what do you all think? http://www.safari4x4.com.au/docs/snorkel/ss720.htm
  7. I got 265/70 16 Revos on my 98 QX4. No rubbing ever, but gas mileage sucks a**
  8. Yeah I'm definitely in the market for a snorkel! You may recall my excursion where the water level was wiper high...and yes the alternator still works when wet, but if the water is dirty it may squeal lafterwards. Let me know if you guys ever find one.
  9. Well, I'm cautiously optimistic. I want to be first-in-line, but I'm unsure of what I'm buying. I need to see pics of all the parts, and whatever else comes with the package. I need to see pics of a rig with the kit installed. And I need to know what if any other parts (like AC 2" coil springs) I can match with it. Update the site with info !?!?!
  10. *hugs* Can we see some pics of the lift!?!
  11. Well, http://www.lpperformance.com/ no longer mentions the lift?!? Dunno what's up with that.
  12. July 1st! Happy Canada day! Me wanna see pics of this lift!
  13. Thanks Big_J, I see the bulb but can't find the whole package...
  14. Anyone know a good online parts store? I need a new foglight (yes the whole sealbeam) for my 98 qx4. thanx!
  15. Here's a link to a manual locking hub accessory. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...&product_id=720 My question is, can somebody explain why this is good to have? gas mileage? Component wear? Will it be necessary on my 98QX4 truck with the 6" lift? I obviously don't care about MPG... thanx
  16. Hey Runnerman, How much do you figure does the superskid weight? Thanks
  17. Argh...the web site says the lift kit has been pushed back to July 1st...
  18. Well I got my alternator replaced, that 4x4 excursion cost me 700 bucks... Is there such a thing as a waterproof alternator?
  19. I changed the oil this week-end, took of the plastic *cough* plate off, leaving it off, waiting for the real deal....no pressure runnerman no pressure ;-)
  20. Well maybe my luck has run out. The following day when I started my truck, it did *not* sound good! What kinda dammage you think I did to it? I mean geez it's only water...
  21. The "suspense" is killing me....no pun intended ;-) Man yesterday I drove my qx through a freagin lake, at one point when the water almost reached the _wipers_ I threw it in reverse and backed out... But these Bridgestone Duelers AT Revo ereally work well...
  22. I found this piece of info concerning the qx4 all wheel drive system.. http://www.autoworld.com/news/Infiniti/QX4_All-Wheel.htm
  23. What make/model 4x4 was your friend driving? What kind of tires were you using?
  24. Well with a 6" lift I can easily walk underneath..;-) Your superskid is awesome.
