  1. ? Only two sets? So you're saying the 16" wheels with the same bolt pattern and multiple offsets to choose from won't?
  2. OK. So I'm thinking about doing a set of 16" wheels. If I stay with the same stock width and do +60, I'm hoping I can fit a more agressive tire on there without worrying about rubbing. I was even thinking about going a little bit wider, but I don't think I need anything that big. I'm still looking around at lifts. If that 4x4 parts company in the nearby thread makes a 3" lift kit, I'll be set. Now, the only thing I need are a set of hydraulic nerf bars that can extend about a foot out from the vehicle so the ass holes at work don't hit my car again. Not even two weeks in and I come out and find a dent and scratch.
  3. Unfortunately, you may be correct. But hopefully either the tool bag goes elsewhere to vent his frustrations or they keep him in jail until he cools off. It sounds like some one that's liable to get himself killed one day by thinking he's tough @!*% and doing something stupid and messing with some one that really can't control their anger.
  4. Anyone out around MD? My pathfinder is good at going on dry grass, gravel roads, speed bumps, etc... But I'm a photographer and I'm always looking for new things to shoot. If anyone's out in MD, WV, NOVA, or Southern PA and wants some photos, I'll come along and shoot.
  5. I was looking through the thread with the links to the guy with the white r51 with the 2.5" lift. I saw that the fronts had positive camber to them. How bad would that effect handling and eat up tires? Could you get different control arms to fix that, or do they even make them?
  6. The only retaliation worth taking is legal. the end.
  7. I meant mm for the lug pattern. 5x100, 5x114.3, etc... Any idea on the offset? I was looking at a set of 16" black steelies and was wanting the get a slightly more agressive tire and stance that stock. The stock wheels are the 16"ers. Also, would I require hub centric rings or is that dependent on the brand of wheel I go with?
  8. Cool. I might try that and get some lamix sheets to protect the lights.
  9. Heh...I just sold an RC51.... Anyways. What will stop the terrible bounce you get when you have people in the back. I hit a bump that other day with 4 people in the pathfinder and it felt like the end was being shot up into space. I can deal with a stiffer ride as long as there's a bit more performance there. Is that also a result of having big ass tires with some what stiff shocks? After all, I was used to 30-40 series tires on my car.
  10. I have an '05 Pathfinder SE. Information's suprisingly scarce. I found one sight that mentioned the lug pattern being 6x 5.5" and that sounds kind of fishy as it should be measured in metric. What's the lug pattern? Also, I have the stock alloys. Can anyone tell me the offset of these wheels? I'm assuming that if the offset goes out a bit, there's not going to be any problems with rubbing as their should be enough clearance with the stock height?
  11. I've been browsing around for a brush guard and I've seen a few I like. Are there any bolt on guards you guys would recommend over the competition? I want something that's not going to rust or fall off within a year.
  12. Any other ideas? I might just get the HID kit and use it with the standard lights, but normally HID's are done with projectors. I'm not much of a light guy, so I'm unsure as to what to do.
  13. I saw these on a pathfinder somewhere. Anyone seen them before? I like 'em except the three led looking lights above the headlights. I'm kind of leary because you can get a set for $300. I don't want to buy a big POS that's not going to be sealed and that's going to have problems with moisture or anything else. If it's just the shell, it may be worth it. Then I can fit in a set of HID's. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/mytightride...rHeadlights.jpg
  14. I think I'm just going to get an in dash dvd/nav screen and do it then. I'll just use the radio transmitter plug for now.
