1rst. everything around here is more expensive (regarding to auto industry) than in the states... a used 1995 is reselled around here in the 10000 U$s mark.... (do not start laughing)

2nd. the bumper was around the 2000 U$s... i guess... but was custom made... i don´t know if they can ship it to Houston... i´ll ask...

3rd. yeap is the prettiest bumper ever made for a Pathy as far as i know... you can see more of it in the Patagonia4x4 links from the user TANOBALDI...

[Hard to shift into 1st gear]

my mechanic said that is a problem of worn tops, when you try to find the first gear to your left the top prevents you to overpass the gear so if you try to reach the third then a little bit left you have the first its easy just has to get used to. the same with second gear...

[Painting alloy wheels]

carbon like film is a tiny film some people use to put in their cars they call it here "plottear" for the plotiing machine used in big commercial advertising pictures like those used in buses or cabs... is for covering the original colour... some new beetles and audis A4 in "mate" black are a hit around here mainly with tunners...

i´m painting anew my old patty and i´m thinking of covering the fenders with carbon like film to make them appear like if they where of this material as well as the both rearview mirror in front doors and other plastic parts... what do you think... my truck is dark green whith black bumpers

I have also thought of painting the little holes in the four alloy wheels with black paint also after renewing the four of them and making them shine with the original silver color in the plain parts... anyone have done it?
