  1. Just noticed my 17" wheels off a 2002 Pathfinder LE will not mount on my 2002 SE because they will not fit over the Warn Hubs I installed. I wanted to use the 17" wheels because I have 17" Blizzak tires mounted on them.

Any suggestions other than get different wheels and if so, suggestions on some 17" wheels that will fit?

  2. My 2002 Pathfinder SE 5-speed sits low in the rear and I would like to put it back to where it should be, any ideas on what springs to purchase to make this happen. Also, if I replace the speedometer module with one from a LE, will that give me the computer features such as mileage, temp, etc, or wont's the LE version work in the SE??

  3. Does anyone make a CAI like the Volant for the R50 Pathfinder. I had a Volant on my Xterra and it worked out very well for me and an looking to put something similar on my 2002 Pathfinder? The Volant is a closed system, with a high flow filter in a free flow box to keep water and dirt out. What is out there for the R50 Pathfinder that others have used and are happy with?

  4. Mine did that also, so I replaced all the bushings in the control arms and the panhard rod which solved the problem completely. Around $110 for all the bushings (OEM) and just the time to press the old ones out and press the new ones in.

  5. I looked at the TB and it seems like it will be a real pain just getting down to the point where I can take off the nuts holding it down, one nut seems almost impossible to get at.

I've been going round and round with mine!...lol. If you know they are bad you can pull them out from the top, but you will more than likely mess them up...They are expensive so make sure they are no good before you do. It's really not bad taking the TB off and using a 4.5 mil socket to get them out without hurting them...They may just need cleaning???

  6. I have never had a Flowmaster 50, but had a 40 on an Xterra for over three years with no issues with police because of the sound being too loud. The 40 on my Pathfinder sounds pretty tame compared to my Altima with a Magnaflow system, although it is not as quiet as the stock Nissan muffler was before it fell apart, after which it became extremely loud.

    :aok:

I switched to a Flowmaster 50 but now seem to be getting more attention from the local police when I launch in front of their cruisers.

  7. I just had to replace the muffler on my 1989 Pathfinder as the Nissan muffler finally gave it up to rust!

I purchased a Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler 2.25" 42441 and it fit perfectly, with just a bit of modification. I cut the old muffler off and had two reducers made at the local muffler shop, 2 1/4" OD on one end and 1 7/8" ID on the other end. The 2 1/4" end fit perfectly inside the Flowmaster and the 1 7/8" end fit perfectly over the original exhaust pipe just like it was made for the application.

The sound is great, and I am on the road again for $60!
