  1. I'm debating on just hole sawing into the floor board to replace that sensor. I mentioned before someone had similar issue and just cut into floor board to get to that sensor to replace. If my leak gets worse I'll just do that. Just not sure how to run the new wire since it won't be in that wrapping. Link below
  2. Thank you for the feedback. When looking at the leak. The drip is coming off the small burgundy colored plug on end closest to rear of car. Very slow but drips a drop or 2 a day.
  3. Thank you for the tips. I had seen a couple others with similar leak state it's the sensor on top of tranny. Plug closest to front of car seems to have the drip. I saw one guy hole saw a spot under dash to get to thst sensor to replace. Seems like that could be a bit of an easier if not messier route to address it. I'm thinking of going that route to save the headache of dropping transmission. Leak isn't super bad currently so kinda holding off for now but I know it's inevitable. Tranny slips into 3rd gear when cold and have the rear main seal leak so the trifecta is nearly complete lol.
  4. Old topic revive but dropping control arm method......does that avoid needing an alignment? Just got an alignment then conveniently passenger side boot tears. Trying to replace the axle without needing another alignment. Thanks
  5. Hey all. Recently installed ome 2928 hd front springs and gained close to 2" lift up front (34" ground to fender lip). After my recent alignment i noticed my upper passenger cv boot is torn. Was looking at replacements and found rockauto.com has trakmotive ni8185xtt which claim to be extended and can accommodate upto 47° articulation vs 23° of stock. Anyone running these and/or does it make sense to run these over stock length? Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
  6. I considered grinding them out but ultimately found another set of wheels that'll work. Hoping i can sell these and not take a huge loss.
  7. I actually watched some videos on that. I decided to take the loss. I just ordered another set of cheap wheels that should work. They have a straight through center bore and tall caps. Couple wheel site show they fit. Out some cash but guess that's the cost lol. Luckily I got pretty good deals all around so kinda breaking even
  8. Yeah, I'm pretty nieve and already had tires put on. I'm kinda crushed cause I'd been shopping for wheels for a while. I should've test fitted but I didn't think this would be an issue. Thank you for your help, guess I need to find different wheels.
  9. Hola. Ran into an issue with wheels i ordered. Apparently I didn't research enough and not getting front mounted. Bore on wheels is 106 but they taper in where cap fits and aren't deep enough to clear. I'm guessing that I'll need spacers but wanted to see with more experienced members if there's another route. Looks like I'm about 1/2" short. Also, if I run 1/2 spacers up front will I need to match 1/2 spacers out back as well? I appreciate any help. Thank you!
  10. I agree. Just put in some new Eagle Eye brand lamp assemblies and brightness is lacking. I thought about getting higher discharge bulbs but really dislike the blueish hue light and prefer the warmer bulbs.
  11. Cool thanks. I was just worried the +10 on an 8" wide wheel would be an issue on the strut side since my stocks are the 16x7". Like you said, the 8" +10 is 3mm closer to the strut but I wasn't sure if the width of the 265 70r16 would be an issue.
  12. Awesome. Thanks for the info. I think I was more worried about too much backspace with the +10 on an 8" wide wheel. I'd prefer more tuck but if the -6 didn't stick out much I'd be ok with that.
  13. So would 16x8 +10 offset with 265/70r16 work with no issues? Alternatively same setup with -6 offset work better? The wheels i like are either of those but I'd like to tuck as much as possible
  14. Hola, just installed OME 2922 in my 01 pathfinder and sitting a hair over 33" ground to bottom lip of rear fender centered up from axle. From what I researched that sounds stock height. I also measured top of the highest part of roof in back and also appears to be stock spec as well. I expecting to be close if not higher than 34". Curious to hear anyone else's experience. I am running stock wheels and stock size 255/65r16 tires. Thanks!
  15. Just installed OME 2922 in rear and ground to fender is just over 33". I was sitting at 31" but coils were shot. Was a bit disappointed as I was hoping to net more of a lift. Wishing I went with Dobinsons in rear. I have the HD for front I just haven't installed yet.
  16. Hey all. I was installing my rear lift springs and noticed a leak of red tranny fluid. What had me confused is the drip migrated to passenger side frame. Drip collected a few inches ahead of muffler on frame. There's a plate covering wiring and I felt up there and wires seemed wet with fluid. Only owned this a few months and seems it just recently started dripping. Not sure where to start. Any advice is appreciated. 2001 LE 4x4 167k
