  1. 2004 Chinook Edition Hey all sorry to revive this thread but I am looking at getting some new rims and tires soon aswell. I just want to make sure I have all the right info again because Im a little confused with the backspacing and width of tires/rims. Ive watched Tyler208's video regarding offset and fitment but i am wondering whether a 16x8 with -19mm offset (3.75) and 265/70/16 is going to poke if i have the stock fender flares, and more importantly if i will be able to tuck the rear wheel, or will it be sticking out too far. Im not lifted currently but am planning to do a spring lift in the near future (if anyone knows where I can find a set or front and rear lift springs in Canada for a decent price id really appreciate it). I know the lift does not affect your backspacing since the spring perch moves with the wheel but I was curious if a 0 offset 16x8 will still clear the strut perch if I decide to go with a bigger tire in the future after lift and keep the rims. TLDR = Currently stock height (but new parts so not sagging), looking to buy rims and tires soon. Will do lift in near future but want to get a new set of wheels on soon. Whats the best rim and tire specs to allow tuck in the rear and to have flush fitment with stock fender flares. I attached a link to the Ceco steelies i was looking at below.   3. Ok if that’s the case then I won’t be messing with that, would you recommend just changing out the fluid and adding some lucas stop leak to try swell up the seal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Ok thanks for the info, would you just recommend to put some fresh fluid in the diff and possibly add some additive to make the seals swell a bit and possibly slow the leak? Not looking to do a full diff rebuild on a $2k truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Where did you find that info, I’ve heard some people say you can remove the side shaft and in the schematic it looks like the inner seal is at the end of the extension tube. Just trying to get a straight answer before I start pulling it apart. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks I took a look at that, most likely the inner oil seal, most people say the outer grease seals last 2x as long but they will both be getting replaced anyways. I’m the diagram there’s is 2 bearing collars that say they need to be replaced, can they be reused if not damaged? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey all, have a clicking from the front when car is moving and turning so I think that's the cv axles, so l took a look at them and also saw a leak at the end of the axle on the passenger side where it meets up with the cv axle. Is this is axle seal leaking? If so has anyone done this job. Considering I will be taking out the old cv axles I can get it all done in one shot. TIA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
