  1. Hi All, New to the forum but I am having a problem with my 1999 Pathfinder with the vge33. Recently, after filling up with gas at a very popular gas station, my Pathfinder started acting up. It started by bucking and cutting out while driving which slowly turned into the vehicle running extremely poor (pretty much un drivable). I replaced my entire distributor and set my timing which seemed to fix the problem as the car would idle and run just fine when warm. But a few days later I noticed that the car would die at idle if I had to many electric accessories on such as the radio and headlights. Additionally the car had a very hard time starting when cold, it would crank very fast but didn't seem to want to fire up. If I really play with the throttle and crank the engine for about 30 seconds then I will idle but it will idle very very rough until it warms up to operation temperature where it will run perfectly (aside from dying at idle with the headlights on). I made sure to charge the battery and make sure the distributtor is on correcttly but that didn't seem to help
