oh yeah, i need to add an HD tranny cooler too. i have one that i need to install.
i also need to replace a boot on my cv!
-
mine used to be on my back seat as well. then when i had to redo all my interior when i did my body swap, my dad mounted my amp under the driver seat cuz he's paranoid about those kinda things. it fits decently, but only cuz it's small (200W max)
-
Did you verify if your CV was the same bolt pattern as the 5 pt start with 5 bolts total?
no cuz i told you that i wouldn't use that CV just cuz the boots ripped and it looks all gummy and messed up inside. it's been exposed to the elements, so i wouldn't rely on it. plus i haven't even had the time to look at it yet. i can remove it if you want, though.

soooo, does anyone need anything worked on?
froggy needs new steering. i still need to pull it off my parts pathy, tho.
friday the 20th is the only day i have to meet up anywheres.
-
hahaha, i'm in both of those clubs. i've wheeled with TTORA twice before. and NPORA twice, but i've been at NPORA like 5x longer. haven't wheeled w/ XOC yet. that'll probably change when the summer starts.
but i'd be down for meeting up. my friend on TTORA meets/hangs out w/ the TTORA ppl all the time. it's pretty tight how close they are.
i'm also down for workin on anyone's rig. i rarely have a day off work and school on the same day though, so that's the only problem for me. that's the reason i'm on so many boards. whenever i have a day off both work and school, it's more likely that one group or another is wheeling!
-
sweet. hopefully your PA isn't fawked, Enjoi. lol. i just wanted to know before i started pulling the parts
-
does anyone know if the steering off my '87 parts pathy will fit Enjoi's HB?
-
i only remove my rear sway bar when i go wheeling and keep it on for street use, so i have a good feel for the difference between the two. there's a pretty big difference in body roll w/o the sway bar. i think one of my rear tires came off the ground on a right-hand turn w/ a radius of the width of a lane (there were two right-hand turn lanes and i was on the outside lane) going about 20-25. but that's also because i have 3+3 on 33s.

i think this was after breaking the CV
this is the hill it was broke on
oh and here's some pix one of the toy guys took. he's got a good one of me and msavides. the rest are of toys.

basically the road just ripped up your tires cuz of the crappy angles at which they were hitting the ground.
here's all the good pix i took.
-
time for cal mini steering?
your tie rods are at a steeper angle than mine, but i think that's because mine isn't lifted as much.
oh, and the arm on the driver side is the pitman arm. the one on the passenger side is the idler arm.

pffft, i'm leaving my house at 5 to make it there by 830, ya bunch of nancies lol
but the Toyota guys are gonna be there around 830-9, so that's when i'll be there to drop off my friend w/ them. so i guess that means i won't be stopping by in SJ.
see ya'll there tomorrow morning!

hope you guys got some more rain to knock down the ruts from all those amercian make rednecks :o) california ain't so bad...I think you should all trek down the Calico this weekend so SteeevO has more than 1 NPORA member wheeling with him...i cant believe i moved 2500 miles and will be the 1st NPORA member to wheel with him....
Ylal have fun..i wish i could be in both places...
He's a lil too far south for me. Calico's 450 miles away vs hollister @ 180 miles. i'll head down there someday when i have both days of a weekend off (not very likely) i rarely wheel anyway, between work and school and all
Does anyone want to meet up in san jose?sure, why not.

1) JoeBob
2) msavides
3) Oliver(aka yozsi)
4) Statutory Ape (aka Charlie)
i'll be meeting the TTORA guys at the in n out parking lot at the Gilmore outlets at 8-830 to drop my friend off w/ the TTORA guys. he's gonna ride w/ another TTORA member. I guess i'll meet everyone at the obstacle course.
the guy who my friend is riding with (who has an SAS'd DC Taco) said he wants to do some of the harder trails and said my PF could probably make it. i'm down for running the harder trails, but only if everyone else here would want to too cuz i'd rather wheel with you guys.

I say lump it for now, and when we have a big enough pile, it will become more clear if further sorting will be required.

or do it right the first time!!!!!!!!!!!11one

that's what i wanna do with the extra pathfinder frame that i have. either that or just throw a HB cab on it and make it a truggy.
-
i'm still going on the 31st.
-
this saturday is a no can do for me, but i'll be there on the 31st regardless.
-
wheelin's wheelin, mang.
-
well the TTORA guys are meeting at the In N Out in the Gilroy outlets at 830. i'll probably meet there unless everyone here wants to meet somewhere else or at a different time or w/e.
i have a CB. i'll be on ch31. i'll bring the FRS for S&Gs too.
-
i'm in. i just need to figure out why i got a damn check engine light on after changing my plugs/wires/cap/rotor.
-
i'm goin for sure. i won't be camping cuz i don't get off work on friday til 10. just so you guys know, there's gonna be like 3 toyota clubs goin there too. we should wheel w/ them too.
-
Right now it looks like i'll make a run up there if theres some other folks off of here that will for sure go and run some easy trails and not go out to kill their rigs
well i'll run it if i have the day off work. and i also don't wanna kill my rig. lol. last time i went wheeling i was afraid of f'ing up the steering the whole time cuz i'm on 33s w/a stock CL. there were some crazy rocks that i went over though. ended up breaking a cv. i'm down for some easy goin wheeling tho.
