  1. @TowndawgR50 Are you guys still making SFD’s? And what are the prices if so?
  2. @XPLORx4 That helps a lot. If I try KYBs and Bilsteins, would I need to purchase anything with it, and is it something I could do?
  3. I've been on the forums for a long while and I still don't fully understand the R50 suspension. I have an 04 with on the fly 4WD that hardly gets used (Kansas ) I looked into the LR springs and settled on the LR 9446 for the rear. If I do that, what else do I need? I would like to go with a slightly larger lift in the front to give it a "leveled" look. I don't know anything about shocks and even less about the front suspension. I'm trying not to go wild on the cost, but I'm guessing that it's inevitable, so that's that. I know my suspension is already going because I'm rubbing with 245/65/17s on 17x9s. The simplest solution is for someone to send me their favorite 3-inch rear and 3.5/4-font lift. Sorry if I'm sounding picky, just frustrated trying to find a solution.
  4. I have aftermarket wheels on my 04 Pathfinder and I was wondering if they’d clear. I have the LE Platinum stocks (more offset) sitting in storage if these don’t work. Here’s the new set
  5. before starting, i know npora probably isn’t the right place to look for this answer, but it’s worth a shot. has anyone done any engine related performance mods? the most i’ve ever seen is the occasional CAI and that one guy a couple years back who had a turbo r50. asides from that, does anyone know anything about plenum spacers or beefier injectors/fuel pump?
  6. So I recently went to a local Pick-n-Pull and bought a brush guard off of a 2003 R50. The removal process is pretty easy. 3 bolts on each side of frame and two mounting brackets will fall out with the hardware. After bringing everything home, I looked under the car and saw the two factory tow hooks and removed them. Assuming that the 3 bolts on each side would line up with the brush guard, I took them out. (Note to anyone trying to remove the tow points, make sure to use liquid wrench to loosen the bolts. Even my nearly mint condition Pathy had bolts beginning to rust to the frame.) After the two tow hooks fell off, the brush guard was ready to be mounted. With a buddy, we both went under the car to try and mount it. Once it was under the car and pushed it up to the mounting holes we found out that the 04 must have had a different mounting pattern, but that wasn’t really a problem because it was just for looks. Only 2 of the bolts would go in so we figured that it would hold going down the highway. That was the case and so far we’ve sat 180 lbs with only the 4 bolts in total and it didn’t seem to have any problems.
