Baker95pathy replied to Baker95pathy's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I think I have a bent valve or more than 1. I'm ganna check compression to be sure but probably ganna get knew heads. But should I rebuild the ones I have or get new or get some off of a wrecked junker. -

Ok well I turned the engine about 10 to 12 times by hand and my marks on the belt and the gears are different every time. Shouldn't they line back up after a few rounds. -

Ok all timing is correct but it still won't start. It will almost start but then it just starts turning slow again. Still has a little back fire but no flame out the breather anymore. I'm stuck. -

Ok I do not have a way to test compression but when I try to start it with the breather off it occasionally blows a flame out the breather. -

I just bought a 95 nissan pathfinder. It has set for 4 months. The guy said he the timing belt broke he replaced it but it would not start. I checked and the timing was not set correctly. I set it correctly but it still won't start. The engine seems to be turning slow to me. I'm getting fire and I'm pretty sure I'm getting fuel because when I pulled out a plug it smelled like gas. Can someone please help me. -
