  4. My Brother got me on to the Dobinson Springs he has them on his 2014 Hilux and went for a test in his car before I looked into the price. He did his research on all makes and they where Good Value , I looked into a couple of different types. Not sure if you have them over there but you could Call Danny Judge at the store here in Adelaide he helped me out , good bloke to talk to 08 83691377 say you spoke to me on here. It wasn't that long ago he will remember Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'll post a shot of my 4x4 today I'm heading to the beach to test the suspension today. So far I can notice a change in the way my car handles on the road and is a lot comfortable inside the car now , my back isn't the best but this has helped my pathy a lot [emoji4] Need any help let me know I'll give you some tips on the font aswell if you need. I didn't use the crowfoot wrench tool in the online book there wasn't any need for it. But I did use compressors for the front and doubled up when the other two where at a high tension , more easier to manage the spring, That was the scary part compressing the spring. Other than that fairly Easy to manage the changeover. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It was Fairly Easy to do yourself Rear shock were simple hoist your car both side on up on car stands fairly high up . Then jack your diff up to take the weight of your diff undo the top joint and unclip the lines off the drum so it doesn't hurt the lines do the lines off the diff aswell . Undo your lower shock bolt . Then lower your diff top pop the rear springs you need the stands high enough to lower the diff down . I used a friends hoist it's a lot easier. Then just do the order backward and the back springs are done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. after the Dobinsons springs are in it gave me a decent rise in the front the back is fairly the same but more heavy duty for my 15" boat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Thank you it took me a week for me to work out how to get on this forum lol So he did hook it up to a scanner it did throw a code when it died only when the scanner was hooked up , it was the distributor sensor inside maybe --- but then once replaced it blew black smoke on start up then I would drive it for a while and it would still stall at the lights every now and then or die while driving ---- changed the Map sensor and bammm solved it--- I wish I bought that first I'm sure it was the Map all along but the wrecker said don't waist your money on it the first time lol problem Solved ---- Map Sensor -- ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Cool thanks about the info on the EGR I'm not sure if I keep the bearing in or out the valve work he said leave it in . ok as for the car guys first he said distributor so I did replace it with a second hand one ! but then I was blowing black smoke when starting up and stalling while driving or at the lights every now and then ----- And it came down to the Map Sensor --- If in doubt guys second hand map sensor is not much!! change that first up yeeeeww back on the road ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks for your reply , I usually get my car serviced at the same place but they kept saying there is nothing wrong with it . He had it two days I Drive it one day and it dies on me lol . He a great mechanic but when I say there is something wrong I don't lie lol Your advice of taking it to another mechanic I will be looking for a closer mechanic but I will mainly do it myself. Just cause the price for the services and parts are to expensive when a weekend or two on the car is a good project
  17. Hi everyone I'm new to this forum but it looks like the place to be. I'm have a little trouble with my 2002 Ti Pathfinder Vg33e engine. About a month ago I started stalling at the light but randomly ever now and then, This is what I have done in order of this list . Oil Change new filter and 15w40 oil . Weather is 25c to 35c in summer now Air filter Fuel filter Change Bosch platinum plugs Brand new leads - I've also taken it to three machanics and first one cleaned my air flow and next cleaned airflow and Map sensor. The next one blocked my Egr valve off with ball bearing in the air tube . And had it for a week then he said it came up with it saying a code about the distributor inside so I replaced with a second hand one and now I'm still stalling at random times ! I've had this engine for three years and it didn't seem wright from the start plus I've had my Pathfinder for 10 or more and it's my baby I try to keep it in good nick please help a Pathfinder owner out !!!
