  1. Nice job on the winch mount Runner Man. This may be a little far ahead but what about shipping? Do you think it will go LTL or UPS etc... Well, I'll have my truck paid of by June or July, trying to do it early, and I'll be placing an order for the skid plate. Keep up the good work. :aok:

  2. Tecc - I just got a new micro filter last week and hopefully will install it this weekend. It comes with instructions and looks pretty easy. I almost have 60,000 miles on the same filter, but then again my car has never been smoked in wacky or none.

  3. I can’t remember if I saw Kennesaw Mountain Accessories mentioned on NPORA or if I found them by search, but any why I checked out the web-site and I really like the way their rear wheel carries looked. So I e-mail Kennesaw and Kyle was very prompt to reply. He said they had a rear wheel carrier in the work for the r50 pathfinder but the customer canceled on them. They said as soon as they can get another chassis they would develop one. Check out the web-site and if you like the rear wheel carriers (The Multi-Carrier) let Kyle know. I thing from their web page that price runs about $500 to $675 depending on what you get. And if any one is in the Douglasville, GA area you might want to check it out. I think that is where they are located.

  4. I used a small hole just to the left of my clutch pedal and below where the hood latch cable goes through. You have to remove the inner finder shell to pull the wires through the firewall. I used it for my grounds and power from the battery. It has about 6, 16 gauge wires going through it and I probably can fit two more. For my 12v power source I used the cigarette lighter. I don’t like cutting factory wiring so I actual took the cigarette lighter apart and attached 3 wire for power from it. So far I use it to power the switch for by backup lights, side lights, xm radio, and I will use it for my top mounted front lights. By they way how many switches can you power from a 12 volt cigarette liter? Would it be possible to power 3 switch, xm radio and a cb radio? I guess I’ll find out.

  5. I agree with Herm. If the pathy is in good condition and almost paid for I would just keep it an mod it out. My wagon should also be paid of in June or July and I plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (and then maybe buy some new ones), granted I only will have about 65,000 miles on it by that time. I rather pay for maintence, repairs, and mods any day then a car note. Plus, I can of like being the under dog in the off road world!

  6. Does anyone have a (Close Up) picture of a Waag Front Runner bumper guard with a set of lights mounted to it? (Please see picture below, but I need a closer view). I know many of you say they don’t over much protection but for the wheeling I do, and my pathy is just 2 wheel drive I think it will be fine. The reason I want a closer view is because I want to see if there is some way I can mount a Hi Jack where the lights would mount. (I think you have to buy a separate mounting kit for the lights)…My plan is to start working on body armor by the beginning of next year. I want to get a front runner BG, rear BG and tail light guards. Followed by a set of sliders and skid plate. Thanks

  7. I agree 01. Plus changing my oil every 3,000 miles gives me a chance to check over my Pathy. I have friends the swear by synthetic, but I think I will also stay with my GTX for now. Also changing your oil with synthetic means you can run 5,000 to 10,000 before you next oil change, and I'm just not comfortable with that!

  8. RowOSU - I know all about that 6 CD changer in the 01. I paid $110.00 to get it fixed and 6 months later it's broke again. Luckly I have my XM so I'm ok for now. I'm also going to replace the head unit soon.
