  1. It's been awhile since I have been on NPORA. I wanted to get some opinions on tires. I'm currently running 225/75 on stock 16s which is narrower then the stock 255/65 but a little taller. My question is what is the larges tire I can fit on stock 16inch rims, without rubbing if I use 4x4parts 1 1/4 inch spacers in the front only. I was looking at 265/70 or a little smaller 255/70. Thanks for any help and if you have an opinion about the spacers please let me know.

I want to add that i have about a 1 to 1.5 inch lift. Thanks

  2. Just my additional 2 cents. The guy that tinted my sunroof has been tinting windows for years. He tinted my windows on my old Honda civic, my mothers car, a couple of friends, and several people from my work. He did not seem worried about tinting the sunroof at 20% so I didn't worry about it. I live in Memphis and gets around 100 degrees here in the summer. My car sits outside in direct sunlight for at least 9 hours a day while I'm at work. The sunroof is made out of the same glass as your side windows (correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway I have not had any problems with the tint or glass, so it would be safe to say it's ok to tint the sun roof if you want. Just to note, my girl friend has an 02 CRV and her sunroof came tinted about 20 to 25% from the factory (or would you call that smoked??)..anyway.

  3. Well a year now and it hasn’t exploded  . The guy that tinted my windows was kind of weary to tint the sun roof b/c he thought it might be tempered glass like your windshield, but we found out it wasn’t so he said it would be fine.

  4. Can you tell where the filter is? It should be in the middle of the black box. Nothing else should hold it in besides that clip. It might just be a tight fit, I had to work a little on mine before it came lose. Make sure to remove the bottom on first, then slide the top one down to where the bottom one was and pull it out. There shoud be two filters. As far as I know there should not be anything holding it in besides the clip at the bottom.

  5. Just use figure B and C

There are two screws hidden behind the piece that slides out side ways. Here is a quick breakdown. You have one screw behind the grill, so you have to remove the grill. You have one (i think, if not you have to remove it anyway to remove the headlight) behind the blinker, and then you have two screws where that piece slides out. Make sure you slide it to the side and do not pull it straight out. That should do it and you should be able to remove the head light. It will suck the first time you do it so go ahead and replace both head lights at the same time. I tried the first time to remove it form inside the engine bay but the battery and air cleaner made it imposable.

  6. I don't know if this helps but check out the picture below. I had to remove the grill and etc to get mine replace. The picture only shows the removal of the headlights not the grill. The grill is only held on by five clips

  7. I'm not really sure what you are having problems with, is it removing the filter or the inner glove box? If it's the filter there shouldn't be a screw holding it in, only a clip. If it is the inner glove box and there is one point the wont come undone you might want to unscrew the molding right above the glove box that says pathfinder, there is a hidden screw there. I don't know if this helps because it could be different from 99.5 to my 2001.

  8. Runner- you can put me down for one but when I can order it depends on the price and shipping cost, but I guess you will have a better idea once you have it made. I would also be interested in the sliders. How do you plan to make them? More like the Rock Sliders where the stick out a bit so you can use them as a step, or more tucked under the truck? I will also be ordering a skid plate from you this summer. I need to purchase a new Optimum battery first.
