  1. Has anyone replaced the rear main seal yet? I have slight oil leak and I do not want it to get worse. I know that i will have to remove the tranny but is there any thing else that should come out of the way?
  2. ok so what it sounds like is that the majority of you all think its a torsion bar issue. i have tried to search for how to's, but nothing is specific enough to me ( ) !!! if anyone has a step by step or pics please feel free to share.
  3. ok guys i just crawled under the truck and nothing appeared to be broken. just to make sure i went ahead and "bench pressed" it a few times, and didnt hear any wierd noises. however i remebered that the last thing i had done prior to noticing the lean was fill up the gas tank. i am new to the whole pathfinder thing, but my s-10 would lean a little after i filled up. anyone???
  4. true but i am on the other side and still do not level it out. actual that whole side of the truck is leaning. it is not a full to inches, but enough to notice. it kinda looks like the tires are flat on that side ( yes I checked, still have air)!!!
  5. I have just noticed that my 87 Pathy is leaning to the passenger's side. the driver's side is about two inches taller than the passenger's side. what is the cause? and how do i fix this?
  6. I think that it is the tire because it is more of a wobble than a shake. I will be putting new tires this weekend. any suggestions? wanna keep it decent yet cheap.
  7. My 87 pathy has a been of shake in the front end, much like a tire has a bubble. the other day I crawled under the front end to inspect things. I noticed that all of my cv boots are torn, i am missing one sway bar bushing and the other is bad, and my sway bar end links appear to be shot. i am sure that all of these are important issues to address but which of the three will keep my truck from shakin'? also if i push/pull on the sway bar should it move, because it does. thanks baztard
  8. yes there is a how to, but i figured that it has to be more than just cleaning some screws and straightening cables. i will have to find a new switch today.
  9. my headlights are acting wierd. i replaced the bulbs, and now they dont want to work. it is like i put the wrong bulb in or something. only one works with low beams on, and only the other one works with the high beams on.
