Hi all, I have a 1994 sev6 pathfinder that goes into a side to side wobble when traveling above 65 mph. It doesn't do it all the time which led me to think it was a roll in the highway but it doesn't matter what road I'm on so I'm thinking suspension problem. BTW it subsides quickly when I let off of the gas. Any ideas? I've been underneath and didn't see anything obvious. It acts like it needs some kind of sway bar. Hi yall. I have a 94 sev6 pathfinder and I noticed a strong gas smell coming into the cab on the way home today. Ive checked for wet evidence of a leak but none found. Any Ideas? Thanx in advance😬 It smells strong in the front of engine when I popped hood and inspected. Nothing noticed with fuel lines from tank forward.

So Bart, I pulled the shifter and the bushing was cracked. Replaced the whole shifter with a spare that I kept when I changed trannys awhile back. Thanks for the pointer!

Thanks, so If I remove the shifter handle will the bushing be visible?

I went for cruise this morning, came home to back into Garage and I can't get this beast to go into reverse. There is no no problem at all with other gears and no grinding or noise. It just acts like there is not a gear there anymore. Its is a solid deadend below 5th where it should be. Btw it's a 94 manual transmission sev6. Never a problem 258,000 miles. It sounds like the transmission will have to come out to me but I really dont wanna! Any ideas??

My spare tire rack has rattled since I bought the truck in November 2015. I have a 94 wd21 manual tranny sev6. I haven't been able to isolate the cause. The unit feels very firm but if u pound on it with the palm of your hand u can duplicate the rattle. Any small bump in the road and it just rattles my brains out! Any experience out there? Thanks Randy

By the way...I own a 94 wd21 4x4 5spd.

what are the best economical shock absorbers. Ive seen monroes that are oe replacements that are really cheap at rockauto like 15 -17 dollar each range. Ive never replaced shocks so uncharted territory.

My 94 pathfinder rt fog lamp went out. Replaced the lamp and still not working. Parts person dropped lamp before getting it into bag so I suspected she damaged it so I went back for another, swapped it and still no workie. Test light revealed no juice making it to the socket. The other lamp works fine. Short in harness somewhere? Surely these are not on a separate fuse and the fuse map doesn't show a fuse for the fog lights. I'm banking on it being a short in the wiring. Any thoughts?

29mm axle diameter. I don't know what the Pathfinder axle diameter is. Hopefully the same.

I have a 94 SEV6 4x4 Pathfinder and just discovered the passenger side outer boot is cracked. Cv joint not making noises or vibrations yet so I'm about to do some maintenance. Any opinions on the Italian company's cv boot or any helpful shortcuts will be mucho appreciato! Thanks, Randy
