  1. Excuse me, you pasty Canadian?? Come on by again and say that when I don't have a broken rib... :D

I specified 4x4, 4 door, and 1994-95 in that order for a reason. You know exactly why, so don't get all high and mighty because you can do an oil change now. P...

    ;)

Very cool of you to re-sell back to Slick; you didn't need to and no one would think less of you if you didn't.

I know that we are 2k miles apart, but if you need any help with Pathys, let me know. I have connections... :D

Have you considered R50s? They are quite capable in their own right, and have some nice upgrades to the WD21s. Just saying, we own both...

I'm definitely appreciative of the warm welcome and how even as a newb I've already had an awesome experience here and feel like part of the family. Slick and I have been looking and we have a couple in mind, but extra help is always welcomed!!

  2. The journey begins, as they spent their last night together I had realized that I had scoffed at almost every vehicular reunite after years because I was jealous. Turns out, I was, because I didn't think I would ever be a part of something with that much feeling, until now. It's because of this wonderful community that I can have this feeling, full of sadness and yet so much happiness. I will stay around and keep my eyes open for my piece of Pathy love where ever it may come from. Thank you NPORA, for helping me restore what's right to Mini Me.

  3. If I was in California I would be all over that two toned one, but shipping is expensive and cl advises against wiring money :( though it may make for a decent flight / road trip combo...

As far as cargo, that's what the Rogue is for, and once my girl gets her Liberty back the pathy will be an only me vehicle for the most part when I want to play

  4. I'm not sure if I can since I'm new, but I'm nominating Slick for this month, tomorrow she gets her baby back after years of wondering where she was and thinking she'd never see her again.

  5. May take me a couple weeks, but I found a 2 door 88 that could be promising if I can get into my head enough to justify the practicality of not having 4 doors.

Drove Mini to work for the last time today, I can already tell that she's set the bar pretty high for the next one, and that I won't ever be able to find one as solid as she around here.

  6. I'm not gonna count my chickens before they hatch, for all I know another deal like Mini could fall into my lap and make me just as happy :)

But I am going to give this guy another week or so, if he wasn't desperate enough now, he will be then! Guess I need to start looking up SAS conversions for a 2wd pathy just in case!

  7. I am going to be sad as all get out to see her go, but also going to be extremely happy knowing that she is back with the person that made her the beast she is today.

Now I just gotta figure out if this other Pathy I am looking at is going to be "the one" LOL Time to search for 4x4 conversions just in case!

  8. Unfortunately, when my back got rotten wicked on me,and i could no longer wrench on him, i sold him to a guy who owns a detail shop in Indy... he bought king for his son. I would definitely have cut you a deal on him. He was my primary wheeler while only occasionally in CA did mini get her paws dirty.

That's no good! Let me look around the list of craig and we'll see what we may be able to do about restoring Mini to her momma :)

  9. Check the "meter" fuse. Also Check the fusible links at the battery. Those can cause issues.

The canadian trucks are identical to the US ones BTW. The only difference is the metric gauges, and the daytime running lights. Which is actually nice to have because whenever I drive in the states no one has any lights on.

And it also seems that nobody knows what that stick thingy on the left side of the wheel is that moves up and down and makes blinky lights happen on one side of your vehicle.... **facepalm**

  10. A bit rough, yes, she's had quite a few "romps" out at DTOR and was pretty much a full time wheeler from what the kid said...that's just the body though, underneath she's still solid as a rock!

I don't know if selling would be on the agenda though just now, got her 2 weeks ago Saturday, but if it comes to it, you will be the first to know!! And at least now you can have visitations since all of my family lives relatively close to you :)

  11. I can't wait to bring her up! Maybe we could get some action shots somewhere for the nostalgia of it all :)

I wish I still had access to a family friend's piece of land out in Dillsboro, trails long enough to get lost for hours without even trying...

But all in all I am extremely excited that this connection has been made, and that she's as you remember her (minus a couple appearance type parts for now) because I have seen cars that I used to own a few years after I sold them and could've killed the current owner for changing almost everything about the car >_<

  12. One of the MM hubs was replaced, the other replacement sits in a bag in the back with 3 more oil filters...the kid I got her from was a bit odd...said the clutch needed replaced and that it needed a rack, so far it's been add fluid to the res for the clutch and tighten the clamps on a hose...lol the stereo was gutted and it seems to have all the wiring still (which I tapped into for the lights lol) and the EQ is still there but it sounds like they replaced the speakers with factory ones... who needs a radio anyway? lol The only thing that is really missing that makes me a little nervous is a spare tire, but I do like the rack on the back being gone though
