  1. Thanks. I'll probably won't buy it then. But shoot it was up for 80 bucks
  2. Saw on Craigslist for sale. It's a 2000 oem bumper brush guard frame or whatever it's call. I was wondering if it could mount right up on my 95 pathy.
  3. Man I wish I had those terrains in rocky Mountain. Nice pathy bro. And also nice pathy with the ARB winch.
  4. Theres a amp by the pass side kick panel. If you don't hear it click when pressing switch, it needs to be replace. If it does click, then it's something else
  5. Well that out of the way, I took it up to mountain for the first time:
  6. Got the replacement... But it started working by itself. Don't know how that happened but I'm glad I know the speed in relationship with rpm
  7. Never did replace the vss. Ever since it magically started working. Have a replacement incase so.
  8. I always bring small tool box, and Jack, and gas tank. Fill it up before I head out. Then fill it up with the full gas tank when I come back. Water and blanket is a must!
  9. Trail guy. If there's water crossing, some mud and small rocks along the way, so be it 😀
  10. Ok got her up again. I was going to check for shorts but decided to take battery to store and have it check. Battery was still good. They clean out the corrosion a bit. As I put it back in, I just say "screw it, I'll just give it a try again". Thinking it won't start, I was going to spend the evening trying to find the short. But then BOOM, it started! Seems like the clamp for the battery was loose and I didn't realize it or the corrosion was in the way. Well thanks for the help guys. Maybe this post will help others who have same problem.
  11. Thanks for response. I was going to do series of test. And take battery to shop and have it check. I wanted to see if any one else experience same thing as well.
  12. So this is the second time it happen. When I turn key to start, everything went dead. So I jump battery. Run it for a while to charge. And turn it off. Try to turn it on and same thing. I keep jumping and jumping and still same thing. Then I hear weird noises from the bay. Sounded like alarm was gonna go off but went off due to battery drain. Last time it happen, I was messing with the alarm button on the side of e-break. And then it started working. So my question is, is the factory alarm draining my battery? Or causing it to do something else. If so do I remove the black alarm box under the seat?
  13. Pathy with auto are notorious for failing. My old wd21 was auto and it fail. So I got another but stick and 4x4. As far as mods go, I'll start off with the headlight relay harness. Trust me, it's a good mod for headlight problems and better lighting. Then for exhuast mani, I'll get aftermarket. Which ever brand. And prepare it with 300zx studs so it doesn't break again. I'll also add a suspension lift probably 2-3". Maybe a light bar? Thats what I'll do with my wd21 atleast.
  14. So somehow my speedometer started working. I was messing with the Hid kit and the housing didn't fit so I put them back in. The alarm started and when I turn pathy on, the battery was drain. Jump it and start. Turn it off and still won't turn on by itself. My first thought was alternator but it was working when I disconnected my battery. So I kept jumping and jumping. Then I mess with the factory alarm by the e-break. Then it started by itself. The next morning, the speedometer work. Now I know my speed in relationship with my rpm incase it fails again.
  15. Well I don't think Ill go Hid. The @!*% drain my battery. It started making weird noises then alarm start kicking in. Then when I put everything back in and start it, was dead. Jump it and let it run and it was still dead after you turn car off. It started up after I mess with the built in alarm on the side of e-break. Horrible day. And yea those d21 headlight are the best but I like the look of the pathy. And don't want to mess with the 9004 to h4 conversion
  16. Soooo....I did got it working. But let me start from beginning. I bought a Hid kit for my "civic" crv. Made a complain on the review that their harness was crap. The company respond and offer me a new kit. So instead of for the "civic" crv, I told them to make it for the pathy. They comply and what you see up there is actually a upgrades relay 'hid' kit. The black harness I was holding was suppose to go to ballast. I got em hook up buuutttt...the housing won't fit (look at bottom pic). So I'm just going to buy a actual relay harness. Unless I somehow magically make the housing fit.
  17. lol, thanks. still going to off road crv. wont be as rough as pathy.
  18. Just pick up a 2nd wd21. My first wd21 was auto 2wd (horrible option). But I really wanted to go off roading with it. As the reverse went out, I sold it and was looking for a off road rig. Now I wasnt into off roading but like lifted trucks especially SUVs. As I got a CRV not to long ago, a friend told me to off road that and and lift it. So I did my very first off roading....in a CRV, which was fun. But I wanted to go rougher. So after I got rid of my first wd21, I was choosing between another wd21, rodeo (1st gen), and passport (1st gen), all 4x4 stick shift (since I really dislike auto). End up with a WD21. found a great deal for a grand. nice and clean. With AC! only problems are 1. speedometer not working (which trying to work on if the vss isnt being a bitch to pull out) 2. driver side window not working (believe its just the motor as the amp was clicking when pressing the switch) 3. headlight problem (old wd21 had this as well but didnt bother me as much) 4. infamous Nissan Tick well I hope i can get those fix before I can drop greens into mods and lift! having a blast with off roading crv. old wd21 new wd21 IG me for some trails pics and vids. will be taking her up soon. @soninihon
  19. ok, now im little confuse. sorry. new to pathy, since i been mostly working on honda and theirs are straight fowards. so i have this 2 black plugs, which connects to the bulbs. And it is one head light plug (blue). as i still dont have any idea which it connects to. would thought it would hook up to the head light harness. is it on the battery/ fuse box side or driver fender side?
  20. the blue plug on the right side. need to find that plug on the original harness.
  21. Got me a new set of head lamp relay upgrade. Pretty straight forward installation but I don't have idea where the original harness plug is At. Is it behind the driver fender wall?
  22. Thanks. I haven't try it yet as I have to buy a new vss since I broke the pice for the 10m bolt
  23. Found the vss. Now the problem is its stuck. Took out the 10m bolt and not budging. Use hammer and schichel and noting. Also broke the 10m bolt side off from the vss. So I'm gonna have to get a new one now. Any ways you guys deal with the vss?
