  1. These are the gears as I understand them. R51 RWD - 3.13 R51 4x4 - 3.36 R51 V8 - 2.94 So as long as its 4x4 it sould have the highest gear ratio. I would be very surprised is the brakes weren't identical between all trim levels. Also, don't let IRS foul into thinking its not offroad capable. Outside the US, the R51 is a pretty popular trail rig. Granted it won't do the Rubicon in stock form, but it will get some surprising places. This is a 7 part video of a guy taking a lifted R51 up Wheeler Lake
  2. So I have been browsing the internet for a few months now and calling around to a few people trying to find the answer to this question: Are the R200 carrier and C200K carrier identical? Talking with Steve over at Rugged Rocks, the R&P are identical PNs and the spline and diameter match. To me it would seem they are pretty much spot on, but I was just wondering if there were any little quirks hiding in the carrier because of the independent vs solid axle deal. Any help would be great. Thanks.
  3. Currently in the market for an R51.The Army sent me to Honduras for a spell and I am planning on picking up a R51 when I return Stateside. I've owned two XJ Cherokees, totaled one and sold the other. I enjoyed the capablitity in the XJ package but would like something a little more comfortable on road and without death wobble. Looking forward to learning from those here on the site and contributing where I can. Thanks.
