  1. I have to wonder, did they not have hard rain in the 80's? Thinking RainX don't sound bad really.
  2. Thanks for the tips! I will try the atf trick. Any ideas on the windshield wiper problem?
  3. That's a possibility I never considered.
  4. I am just curious if anyone else has encountered this. From a cold start, the engine races and then idles down. Now I know it does this normally, but it seems to me that it's getting worse. It makes the little bit of lifter tick i have sound more like a rod knock. On occasion, I can smell gas, but not normally. Also, are there any other nissan wiper motors that will interchange that run faster than um...SLOW and umbearable? 1987 SE 5-speed 192,xxx
  5. why do I smell gas inside this thing?

Thanks, I really haven't taken it seriously up till this point. I don't smell it all the time. Just occasionally.

Usually it will go away after engine warms up. It is a fire hazard though. Just left of distributor, rubber coupler on fuel rail....

I am going to have a looky see.

  6. I had that happen and to my dismay, I had to pull the back cover off the tail shaft of the tranny and replace the nylon gear in the transmission that drives the cluster. I hope for your sake it's not that. It's a real pleasure to change!
  7. These steering wheels are terrible!

  14. Hey All! Does anybody live in or near North Dallas that would be willing to go look at a pathfinder for sale? I am interested in one there: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/4870579907.html However the gentleman that owns it is not...shall we say.... a Pathfinder aficionado. He doesn't seem to understand why I want so much information and pictures of it. As you all know, most things are too good to be true. I Am not local to Texas and would have to make the drive from Missouri down there and don't want to come up empty handed. This truck SEEMS to have a lot going for it, but I can't be sure from the "great" pictures. He is obviously not a cameraman either. NOT that that's a bad thing, but for this purpose it is. I basically need someone to look it over and text me some pictures and walk around it, take a test drive, and talk to me on the phone and let me know if its worth what he's asking. And see if it has RUST! I would be more than happy to compensate for gas and time, and perhaps lunch? I can pay through paypal for convenience. Let me know if you can help! Feel Free to PM me Thanks, Steve
