  1. i've got the front diff and rear LSD axle out of a 95 (h233b) with the 2.6xx gearing...its in charlotte...you pick it up and name the price and its ures...

Was it hard to remove the diffs?

I have purchased a donor pathy to remove the diffs already. Its an 87 open carrier, so that i can lockrite it.

    Thanks!

  2. Not too much available..... i am going to swap a H233B into my 4cyl for more options.

    for the C200:

LSD = Nissan 300zx TT rear will work

EDIT = 88 is correct. it is not the TT but the 300z turbo that is a R200.

    Locker = ARB

    thats it.

    Good Luck!

  3. do some research before wasting your money

Maybe I missed the in-depth discussion about gears....could you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

  4. My 87 Pathfinder (C200/R180A) came with 4.6 gear ratio. I believe that some HardBody trucks and Pathfinders came with the H233/R200A 4.6 gear combo.

Also some or the early model Xterra's came with the H233/R200A and 4.9 gear ratio.

  5. i figured all that was incorporated into the sas. so this is just using the same old axle then huh.

I plan to use "the same old axle".....my goal is a better IFS than what we currently have or what is available now while keeping cost WELL BELOW the price of a sas.

I do not know if this is possible, however, i will explore the options anyway.

  6. ***FEELER***

I have contacted a local suspension fabrication shop about making some new UCAs for my 1987 Pathfinder. I also expressed interest in removing my torsion bars and replacing them with some coil-overs!!!

My goal is to do something like the TrailMaster suspension lift setup but remove the unpleasant side effect of the lowering of the torsion bars.

I am looking for two things:

1.) Suggestions…. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

2.) Anyone else interested in this???

I do not have an idea of prices as of yet, however, this is just to see if anyone is interested in the idea.

  7. The body lift made a huge difference in terms of the ammount of tire i can clear. $100.00

I will have removed my sway bars $0.00

New wheels with more back-spacing to reduce tire rub $160.00

    there are a few.....

  8. I am planning to swap a H233B into the rear of my pathfinder with 4.88 gears that i am in the process of buying. I also am working on getting some 4.88 gears for my C200 then the idea is doing as GrimGreg said "combining D44 knuckles with the H233b (in my case it will be a C200) center"

Is there another gear issue to deal with?

  9. I will be exploring this topic fairly soon. I plan to use the C200 out of the rear of my 87 Pathfinder as a Solid Front Axle.

    The issues are:

    1.)$$$$$

    2.)$$$$$

    3.) See 1 and 2

4.) The "pumpkin" needs to be "moved" to the drivers side. (If I remember correctly.)

Running a solid axle with the "pumpkin" in the middle leads to it smacking other stuffs

I will let you know how my adventure pans out.

  10. You also have to decide weather or not you love to build cars. (there is always something to fix, however i mean actually modify and build.) I enjoy fixing and building my pathfinder. I would never by something already build, that to me, defeats the purpose.

Decide wich you love more, the car or building the car. If it is the building and fixing.....sell it. If you just plain love your car, keep it!

  11. I am up for another mod day....I have plenty of things to work on. Check out RoninWheelers.com and maybe we can get together and have a Nissanpathfinders.com/RoninWheelers.com mod day. More people = more help = more fun = more beer it just keeps getting better!!!
