  4. My truck has anti rust mechanism attached to battery and also has under body rust preventer but will take a look. Do you know if the recall applies in Australia?
  5. Thanks for that bushnut they are ultima struts. I'm pretty sure they must be faulty cause I've done all that bar a wheel alignment but its not pulling left or right and is driving well apart from the vibration. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Sorry. They where installed by a qualified mechanic and went back in exactly the way they came out.
  7. Yeah bushnut I can feel it while driving in the steering wheel and in the floor. I tried some inox lubricant which hasn't done very much.
  8. Hi I've just recently replaced the front struts on my 97 pathfinder it was driving great for a week or so. now there is vibration in the strut but mostly vibrates on the up stroke. The springs and top mounts are old but still looked in good condition so they stayed. would they be the problem or is it something else. When you put your finger on the centre bolt ( middle one on top mount) and then bounce the front of the car you can feel it vibrating pretty bad. any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I found the answer to my window problem. Found that the (stupid) previous owner has completely removed the motor and regulater including all nuts and bolts. I've rang my local dealership for replacement parts and no surprise they want an arm and a leg $768aus for motor then another $303aus for the regulater. This Guy had to be dreaming right. is there any aftermarket kits including nuts and bolts doesn't have to be real flash just work to pass roadworthy then it will b disconnected. As my 8month old daughter will have her car seat on that side. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
