  1. Middle mount changed the game... So much easier without it.. I kept the bits, just in case I run into weight issues, but the boat sits up there really nice. Can't imagine needing it.
  2. Better view.. The integra seats are a big improvement
  3. Haha, ebrake is there, but you have to move it a couple cm's over.
  4. Yup, find a junk yard console and swap it.
  5. Thanks Nefarious, I will look into the gearing, I thought that would be an issue. I could still just switch the backing plates and hard lines though right?
  6. I have read a bunch of stuff online regarding the drum to disc swap. I have a question though that I can't seem to get straight. Found a New Mexico 94 SE auto. It has the LSD. I have a manual 93. Could I just swap the axles, or am I going to run into issues with the differential?
  7. That's a good idea, I tried taking ye sticker off, but it was a pia, heat would of helped, but calling it the "Pathterra" is easier
  8. First impressions are solid. They clear mud well and are relatively quite on the pavement. Excellent trail tire, which is where I spend the majority of my time off road. Can't beat the price either. I doubt they would wear well if used for daily driving, but can't comment on that yet.
  9. Finally Took about 4.5 inches off the front, used a pipe cutter. Then trimmed about an inch off the cross bars.Dremel to remount the feet. Jack nuts to mount the feet to the roof. Works great, can mount the boat up now, no worries, plus great place for the shovel when going out for a rip
  10. The wiper clears. I do have the mount titled forward a ways
  11. I just installed a hi lift mount as well. I copied the idea of the 4 wheel parts mount, but I used a flat bumper hi lift mount. You can usually find these cheap from the jeep guys. This one has been sitting around in the garage for years. Pretty basic install. just remember that the passenger side of the tire rack is double tube, so thats why I have the u bolts. 2 inch bolts and ubolts from Home Depot ( I eye balled the size) plus the u bolts came with a flat bar, but because the mount already had holes, i was able to use it on the underside of the single tube (u bolts were too long for the single tube side, could have stacked washers, but it would have looked lame) crank em hard and they are on there solid. I opted to mount the heavy side of the hi lift to the hinge side. Wing nuts and a cotter pin to keep the jack in place. Easy removal when you aren't needing it. Im happy... next up shovel and axe
  12. just wanted to share my story regarding finding a xterra rack. started at my local junkyards. Guy quoted me $450... sure pal. Moved on to some junkyards a couple hours from town. 400 quote, but I was able to get him down to $250.. still seemed steep. Moved to Alberta JY, have family there, $150. Ended up checking out a pick n pull 2 hrs from home. $25. needless to say, I went and grabbed it. had no issue with removal, drill driver and a 30 mm torx, while I was ther I picked up a console from a 98 for $20. JGC lift $40 (paid too much im sure) R50 console $20 xterra rack $25 Have to love the WD21!!
  13. Yes, notching the console is key. I The console is light years better for sure.
  14. resurrection.. best method to adjust the parking brake? tac weld? or is there another trick? Thats the only hold back i have now, dont want to weld, if there is a better way. ideas?
  15. Can't beat the price for some intercos. I have seen reasonable reviews in other sites. I will post some Before and after pics when installed. They are on back order, so might not be till next month. Anyone run em ?
  16. Just ordered at 150 a tire(31x10.5x15) anyone have any reviews? Eyrish
  17. First off, I have been lurking for some time now. Great site, I have gained a wealth of knowledge already, thanks. I recently purchased a 93 XE for my mom to run around town in (she is looking after my 1 year old Son 4 days a week, god bless her , and she didn't have a ride and my friend was moving out of town and was selling the pathy. His parents bought it brand new 21 years ago, so I couldn't pass it up.) I figured I would build it into a bush rig as well, as we love to camp. I have already done the poor mans lift. (98 JGC V8 coils in the back) 60 mins later and I have 2 inches in the back.. sweet!! little crank on the TB's and I am set. anyways, i have a few more questions, but will post them in the appropriate sections. Thanks for having me, cheers!!
