-
Thinking about it now I actually saw his pathy on craigslist a few years back lol. O well ill be going out to sherkin soon enough
-
Haha nobody showed up!! It was actually awesome wheeling. Good water crossings, mud pits and a lil rock crawling! I sadly didnt get any action photos because I was in my truck haha but still planning my nect trip!

What state are you from?
Up here in new hampshire, if I had someone give me a pathfinder with no rust on it I'd be in heaven lol
-
Are you going to be free on october 11th or 12th? Theres a pretty big ride going on that my buddy is throwing to benefit for his mother in Allenstown NH. 484 deerfield road allenstown nh its $15 and its basically a big offroading event. You shud make it up

i found an automatic center console... but i have a 5 speed and need that large peice for shifter/4x4 lever
Well found a 5 speed center shift bezel. Came out AWESOME! Any idea where I can get the auxiliary switches that fit in the console?
-
How much did it cost to from tactical armor group ive been looking at thier bumpers
-
New hampshire has a few that a ARE legal. You could always try to get permission from a utility company to ride on the powerlines lol

After many months of reading I found 3 peole off o infamousnissan.com .
THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO THE 93 SQUARE DASH.
While asking question I had learnt that the swap was the easiest from a 93 to a round dash. Pre 93 you have to worry about pin locations AND wiring colors. With a 93 it is PLUG AND PLAY!!Strip all the wires from the new cluster(94+) and all the existing wires from your old square cluster. Match the colors up... and BANG. every gauge works EXCEPT the speedometer. Going from a 93 with a speedo cable, the 94 cluster is an electric driven speedometer. You need to buy a vehicle speed sensor out of a pathfinder. 94 or 95.(ex. You have a 93 5 speed, buy a speed sensor for a 95 5 speed) if you need any help with this swap feel free to post on here or private message me. IT DOES NOT TAKE A BRAIN SURGEON.If you jave time and patience you can do this mod and it makes your interior look 100% better

This is awesome I live in deerfield nh and freemonts like 10 minutes away. Still have your pathfinder?

What do you mean dont hit the obstacles?!?!!! "Tack er' up and dump ah' " nissan when u come up to nh well go deep wheelin.
-
Yeah that's why i keep it off mostly because of that reason , i plan on getting a trailer hitch and rock sliders in the future. I mostly go with jeeps and they usually pull me out with a tow strap. The jack is for in the future when i go by myself
What in the hell do you mean jeeps pull you out!

Any new updates on your pathfinder Mr. Jim? I'm really sorry to hear people in your area are just as scummy as most of the people here in NH. I've been looking on ebay and craigslist for anything out of the ordinary in your area.
-
I haven't gotten to it yet, as I ended up moving for a second year of college and was daily driving my truck up until this last week. My car is back on the road now and the truck is parked and ready to go under the knife again. I'll keep updated when I dig in again.
Did u ever get into the compartment?!
-
Ok, this is how far I've gotten so far.
I'm stuck at trying to get the stupid software to mirror the solids about centerline, but at this point I'm wondering if the old POS code even supports it!
Bad comes to worse, I can either model a 1/2 bumper and you can just X2, or I can start over, again. Anyway, I'm pissed and need to walk away from it for a bit.
At least I can dimension from this so it isn't a total loss...
B
These dimension came out awesome!! I'm impressed haha youd put me to complete shame! but i believe if you press on there where it labels which plane is which... i believe you can put the measurement on the picture itself. And dont get frustrated!! Given the detail in those dimensions.... id say your pretty damn good at CAD haha.

Sorry, it means I can't type or proof read (stupid fat fingers and old eyeballs/brain)!
TPS is what I meant, which is the Throttle Position Sensor, located on the side of the plenum right at the flex hose air intake. (little rectangular box on the left side)
The fact that you shut it off and it started fine means it is intermittent and electrical, and not a reason to freak out, yet.
Honestly, you have a 20 year old truck, so it's going to be a little tempermental at times. Just treat it like a woman: don't get excited or show fear, don't make any fast moves or hasty decisions, maintain eye contact, speak in low soothing tones and don't turn your back!
(Or is that dogs and horses? Bah, same thing! )
hahahaha you seriously know how to describe women.
and after looking quite a bit over my truck i noticed the o2 sensors wires had been ripped clean off while trying to recover my buddys chevys and jeeps this weekend thank god i actually took a trip down to harbor freight the night before and felt like a kid in a candy store!! bought a tractor jack (HI-Lift jack) for $50, Welder 180 mig/flux core for $285 and a brand new auto darkening helmet for $45... You wanna take about never turning your back on a woman... i slept in my truck this weekend haha.
but heres a few pictures of my not so smart friends against a swamp on the powerlines
Perry is in the 09 wrangler, tylers in the 02 chevy 1500
Josh is in the river with his 95 longbed single cab gay mans chariot 1500
i didnt even pull any of em out they all used my jack i just watched with a couple buds my truck got completely cover and all i had was 2wheel drive(blown cv shafts this fridays project)
-
Possibly, but I don't think it's been done or there just isn't any benefit from hunting one down. Whereas with the automatics, they made them strong so they live longer.
up here in nh its salt stricken junk yards. there is no wd21s in the yard but a crap ton of xterras though! would be cool if i could just do a direct swap of the transmission
-
ill give it a try when i get home. its never done that to me and it kinda got me a bit nervous... what does TSP stand for? haha of course it happens the day after i order 2 brand new cv axles, buy a new welder for my new bumper, and an 80 gal air tank!! :I^Bingo! Always the best place to start if there are stored codes. Even if there isn't, the siagnostic section has proceedures for all sorts of descriptions, it's pretty handy!
The other thing to do is pop the hood while it is running and wiggle the connections at the TSP, MAF, coolant sensor, etc to see if it changes or smooths out. That can help you locate and intermittent issue sometimes. Unfortunately, the connectors don't seem to last as long as everything else, but they are fairly easy to disassemble, clean, tighten, etc.

another great monday!!
ive got the 93 xe v6 3.0 with 270k miles on it. truck runs beautiful. till this morning.
i always start my truck to let it warm up in the cold.
i started it and the truck was idling real rough and sputtering. C.E.L. was on.
so i went to rev her up and it stalled out on me with my foot feathering the accelerator.
so i started it again.... and it ran fine all the way to work!?! anyone have any clue was causes this? has new plugs and wires... and yes i checked all the plugs are tight....
