so the other day it rained and i got stuck in my back yard (wet grass and a heavy foot never mix well) so i put it 4hi and had no problems well i decided i would try and get it to spin i 4 hi so i stomped it and had all 4 wheels spinning i thought o its just because its wet well today i was driving and came to red light that had two lanes then merged into one lane shortly after the inter section and i had a truck come up along side of me (im in the lane that doesn't merge) so the light turns green and i stomp it so he cant cut me off and both rear tires spin so im thinking i have a locked rear end
my ? is: did Nissan put a locked rear end in the pathfinder stock?
during the summer i drive a 87 camaro with a 305 and limited slip but a very tight limited and iv had different people try and do what i mentioned above multiple times and iv never fully broken loose with the camaro on dry pavement there i have done some one wheel peals though
my car could have between 170-215 hp at 4400rpm depending on the transmission what dose a r50 with the 3.3l push for hp at 4400rpm
i got the camaro info here: http://www.thirdgen.org/1987-chevy-camaro#1987_drivetrain

so Friday i received the shocks for my lift from summit racing but dumb me order the wrong ones so they are on the way back to get a exchange for the right ones (dropped off at the post office on Saturday (11/10/13) on Saturday i received my lift from Jeff i am very happy with it looks like good quality stuff and for only 170 shipped im happy
on Thursday i got my muffler and have been waiting to not be busy to put that on hopefully i get it on with no issues on Monday as its a holiday and i don't work and if i get that done in a timely fashion(should only take me 30mins) i will start with the front lift and if that gets done quick i will do the rear and then when i get the shocks from summit ill put them on
today i painted the muffler bright green (yes it is 500 deg ceramic paint) i plan on painting my rear diff cover and the shocks with the same paint

any news on the headers yet?

If you take it to a shop, be ready for about 3-5 hours of labor time, it took my friend and I about 4 hours of cursing and complaining to get at my factory location.
I'm not a fan of the relocation idea, IMHO if Nissan put in on the V of the engine valley, THEN DANGIT JIM I'M PUTTING IT BACK IN THE ENGINE VALLEY!
-Kyle
haha ya i get what you mean by the relocation but iv talked to a couple of people around my area that have the xterra with 3.3l v6 and looked at there setups and it looks to me as the same motor and they have theirs on top of the intake so im going with the relocation instead because of easiness and i don't have a very long attention span or patience now my issue is to actually order my knock sensor and wiring instead of putting my money into stuff that doesnt need to be fixed on my pathfinder
so i have been looking into caming my camaro and it got me thinking has anyone camed a pathfinder and is there even parts to do it??

-
Ok up here in upstate ny there's a lot of mudd all year round butt I think I'm going to skip the vents for the pathfinder and put them on my camaro as it only sees pavement

Ask him if you can use plasti dip.
Sent from my Moto X!
i thought about plasti dip but with out ordering it i cant get the green i want so im going with tape and paint
-
so i did mine as a straight shot with spectra parts(autozone) and im having a issue with my idle air sensor iv tried multiple types of hose/ different lengths/
and i cant get it to turn off the code unless i hold the line tight to the adapter so its like its leaking and setting off the code do you think silicone around the insert will fix it
-
so i think i figured a way to paint them ....
wrap them in duct tape and use a very fine course sand paper to ruff up the tape and the tape would provide a barrier so the paint dosent touch the spacer
-
Yeah...I want a bit of grunt too.
All you have to do then is change the muffler. I will have to do a complete catback. To cherry bomb or not to cherry bomb, that is the question.
I figured with the 2" pipe a cherrybomb ( I think your referring to a glass pack ) would be two open and sound bad
My uncle has a Honda passport with a glass pack and it sounds like $hi and it has the v6 it looks very similar to the wd21 pathfinders so I figured mine would sound crappy with a glass pack

You are sick.
What??? Haha I drive a 87 camaro with 305 with no cat and a 80 series flowmaster and that is perrrrrfect

Never ran the thrush, but if it is a knock off of the cherry bomb turbo then that is plenty loud on a v6.
good haha not sure if i put this earlier but my intake is louder than my exhaust if
im guessing since its a Nissan and a v6 ill probably get a ricer/tuner note/sound out of the muffler?
im used to the grumble /roar of a v8 so it will be a nice change
-
I will be doing this to my grill, brush guard, and soon to be reinstalled flares.
Nice defiantly put pics up when it's done

No, it mounts to the hitch:
Where did you get the mount and what size is your jack

I'm keeping the stock intake.
My offroading here sees alot of desert conditions. Hardpack, sand, etc...
I may go 'DIY snorkel' someday if I plan to hit greener areas and water crossings....especially after the day it becomes a trailer queen.
I do look forward to getting rid of the resonator and getting some more oomph from an exhaust.
the people before me already took the resonator out but put in a extremely quiet muffler and its just to quiet for me

Ya I plan on doing my exhaust after my lift and I already did the intake

I've watch multiple vids on washing it with a pressure washer and it looks fine

So I order front and rear coil spacers rom Jeff and he said not to paint the because he's not sure how the polyurethane spacer will react to plastic primer or normal primer so I was wondering if anybody has painted his spacers

so nobody has answered my question which one is louder, more grumble at idle and all around louder at 3000-4000 rpms on a 6 cylinder motor
-
that i did not know that (crimped)and i didn't know that the welded was a knock off 40 series
my local autozone has both thrush welded and turbo in-stock with both having 2 1/4 inlet and 2 1/4 outlet so im going with one of them as they are the same price(both at 29.99) and they cant give me a straight answer on the sound so im stuck because i don't want to buy one and have it not be any louder than what i got as the muffler that's on it is practically brand new

When I had my taco I did grill, wheels and fenders
Before
After
It comes off flat surfaces pretty easy too
looks awesome
"my taco" thats great i love tacos (the food) haha
-
that sounds about right but i would check connections first had a similar issue except for no dash lights on my 92 gmc and it was the bearings and something else in the alternator but i would get it fixed quick becauseif it is the alternator it could do like mine and fry the battery
