Did it with the old tires also. Not the tires!

Tires are brand new and balanced.

Are caster bars part of the front suspension? If they are what I'm thinking, those bushings were also replaced and the frame was not flogged out as you say.

You may have the answer. Front end has been completely rebuilt but only shocks on the rear

Has anyone experienced a pulling to the left upon acceleration when driving at highway speeds? My 88 does this, then corrects itself back to the right when I let off the gas pedal. Everything under the front end has just been replaced then realigned, new tires and all new brakes. TIA

Hawairish, The 1988 (made 6/87) is 4 wheel disc and only used a special cable for a brief time.

Yes I do. I have had no luck finding the drivers side. They evidently made some changes mid-year. I thought i found them, but when they came in they were incorrect. I called a Nissan dealership and went on the Nissan website (UNAVAILABLE).

I'm kinda desperate here! i have called salvage yards within a 600 mile radius to try and locate intermediate parking brake cables for my 1988 Pathfinder, with no luck. Currently my drivers side is bad, I was given a boat by my father at the end of last summer and can't launch it till I have functional parking brake. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, (New, Used, Somewhere that can rebuild them?) Thanks, David

My 88 Pathfinder rear dome light likes to randomly come on. I haven't been able to locate the device on the hatch that turns it on when you open it. Can anyone tell me where it is located so I can clean it? TIA

I have a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder that I am trying to locate the left and right intermediate rear parking brake cables. I cannot find them online and I need to know if anybody has any idea where you can get these or have mine rebuilt. Thanks in advance, David

Anyone out there have a source for NOS high pressure A/C hoses or someone that can rebuild them? I am finding that it is a discontinued item and I need one for my A/C not to leak out. TIA

HELP!! I have an 88 Pathinder SE and my left rear parking brake cable is bad and would like to change both at the same time. I can find the left rear on line, but not the right rear. Does anyone have any information on this? I've even been to the Nissan sight and entered my VIN # and it has no info on mine. Any help locating a source is greatly appreciated. David

Does anyone have a suggestion on the best place to purchase the intermediate cables for the parking brake (the left and right ones at the rear wheels)?

Quick question: I purchased an 88 Pathy from a one owner a few years ago and I'm getting ready to replace the ball joints and A frame bushings here soon. I've noticed mine has no stabilizer shock and was wondering if some of them didn't come with them. Also any suggestions on what I should purchase that will have all the components I need to put it on. Thanks in advance, David
