Hi, I have just joined and I like what I see already..., especially with the site's promotion of good and friendly manners.
I have recently purchased my 1999 Pathfinder and have found out so far that there is very little available in the way of aftermarket accessories for this particular SUV. I have so far found a SFD kit and a 2" coil lift kit. Bumpers do not seem to exist.
I will be most interested to find out what others with this Pathfinder have done and how successful it has been for them. Aside from lift options , I would like to know what different wheel and tire combos have worked well. I am trying to decide between wider steelies and 31" or 32" tires or stock wheels and "pizza cutter" tires at 31" or 32" if available. I am hoping to avoid tire rub and the need for wheel spacers.
My ambition is not to make an extreme offroad machine, but rather an SUV which is better than stock and still enjoyable to take the family on a long road trip.
Once I begin to make some changes, I will post some pictures.
