  1. Ok, my bluetooth dongle just came in this afternoon. Just plugged it into my Pathy and paired it with my old DROID Incredible. I gotta say this thing is neat and very handy lol. I hit the history for the trouble codes and came up with this one: P0507 - Idle Control System RPM Higher than Expected.
  2. Yesterday I got my new tires mounted to my 03 SE. I switched out my General Grabber HTS tires that wore out after only 2 years of use for Continental Cross Track LX tires. I had bought them from Tire Rack on clearance, and had them mounted at Wal-Mart. MAN what a difference, shes not bouncy anymore. The ride is fantastic, nice and firm.
  3. Well, I just ordered one from Amazon for about 18 bucks shipped. Heres hoping I can find out whats REALLY going on with my Pathy.
  4. I still have my deactivated DROID Incredible. Does it need connected to the cellular network for it to work? I'm using an iphone 5 now
  5. The weird thing is when I had the trouble code for the throttle body, the truck ran fine. There was no change in the way it ran up to and after fixing it. Then about an hour after the truck was fixed the light came on again, this time calling for a faulty IAC Valve. Would anyone recommend the diagnostic tools from Harbor Freight? Since I've had the issue with the SES light, I've been kicking around the idea of getting one. But I hate to buy one and it not work with my truck.
  6. I had it put on the diagnostic tool at Autozone. I forget the actual code but when they researched it, it said that it was a faulty IAC Valve. I'll have to have them check it again to be sure.
  7. Where can I find the IAC Valve for my 03 SE Pathy? I had bought a replacement and couldn't find where it went. The manual for my truck is very vague as to the location. Plus the part I had (sent it back) didn't like anything that was already on the engine. I even took it to 2 mechanics and they were stumped. Would any of you guys know or have an idea atleast. I'm tired of seeing my SES light on lol.
  8. Thanks, now I just need to get caught up on maintenance that I've been lax on. Working 2 jobs to get caught up on bills, and the Pathy is starting to suffer a bit. I'm forcing myself to pay more attention to her since shes my livelihood lol.
  9. Yeah I have pics from when it had just happened. No she wasn't salvaged, just barely. The initial estimate of damage was about 6 grand. And at the time she was only worth about $9850. I was hit by of all things a Buick Regal, the Buick was driven home, but the Pathy had to be towed. She barely made it up the driveway under her own power. I was sitting still, and he was going over 45 mph, I got pushed forward a good 10 feet. http://s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/Matthew_Stapleton/media/182267_10150090750161527_6925411_n_zps07f5d634.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 http://s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/Matthew_Stapleton/media/180470_10150090750121527_7193883_n_zps714a74be.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 http://s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/Matthew_Stapleton/media/182267_10150090750161527_6925411_n_zps07f5d634.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
  10. Yeah, That night I had originally went to look at a V8 Durango. Was walking the lot and came across the Pathfinder. The color caught my eye most lol. I've had a rather colorful owndership of it. Unfortunately less than a year later an elderly man had rear ended it while I was getting ready to pull into my driveway. It took 2 body shops, 3 months, and about 12 grand to put her back together again. She had literally one wheel in the junkyard with all the internal damage she had.
  11. Here's my Pathy. This was taken the evening I test drove her, and the day before I brought her home. http://s1300.beta.photobucket.com/user/Matthew_Stapleton/media/28513_391867786526_6740378_n_zps3039cef5.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
  12. Hi everyone, I just finally joined the forum. Though I have been reading threads every so often. My Pathfinder is a 2003 SE. I bought her at Blue Knob Auto Sales in Altoona, PA in August of 2009. Shes Burnt Copper Metallic, with black interior. She had 65,000 miles on her in 2009 and 92,000 now. I love my truck, and I'd post a pic of her but not sure how to.
