  1. ok so i have finished the SFD with 3 inch blocks and 5 inch strut spacer. I really need help with my steering linkage. Yea i could pay the 165$ for the linkage or make my own. so i went to the pick n pull and got one of those ujoints so now i have 2 total and got somthing hooked up but it binds so any ideas?
  2. is everything direct fit tho? as far as bolt up or do i need all new drivetrain?
  3. lol V8 would tear the frame i feel like, and yea it is alot of work for 40hp so maybe do it when the motor is toast. tossing a cam in there is going to suck gas worse then it already does
  4. yea i just dont want to spend the 500, i see what you mean about the exccesabilty so im thinking 3 inches might be good. as for the alignment its about 4 degrees positive camber droping the Sub frame down 2.5 with put that at less thank 2deg which is alignable. so i think 3 inches would be good
  5. Also i have 2.5 inch pipes, gutted cats and no resonator.... which sounds amazing lol
  6. alright so i decided to make a lift for the pathfinder. I dropped the struts 5inchs and i figured out the hard way that i must drop the sub frame. so i like the amout of clearance with just the strut spacer, but the lower A arm angle is a bit extreme. so i need someones opinon on if i drop the sub frame about 2.5 inchs so i can still get a decent A arm angle if itll align and be alright
  7. Hey im doing this same thing but i dropped the struts 5inchs and i figured out the hard was that i must drop the sub frame. so i like the amout of clearance with just the strut spacer, but the lower A arm angle is a bit extreme. so i need someones opinon on if i drop the sub frame about 2.5 inchs so i can still get a decent A arm angle if itll align and be alright
  8. yea theres quite a bit of wiring modification that goes in to the super charger, id rather turbo it. as far as the EGR vacum i will be pluging that. it will set a code but gives you a couple horses
  9. yea lol im addicted to the sportsman warehouse up there
  10. thanks for the input! every thing helps
  11. we all know these things arent made to race but i still enjoy getting on it and making that waisted gas well spent with the adrenaline that flows. I also own a 13 sec 1/4 mile 71 lemans (not crazy fast but fun to drive) so making a pathfinder try to satisfy those standards :laugh:and hard but i think possible so whats out there. Cheap easys or alittle money spenders that keep this engine or another engine that is direct fit
  12. yea ive owned the earlyer model v6, its deffintly slow but both pretty torqie. It was a customer at my old job she said she was tired of putting money into it and had to many miles for her liking. so she said 500 and first thing that came from my mouth was SOLD! cause its very clean and runs beautifuly. nice i go to redding quite a bit
  13. What is the VG33? does it include more power cause this thing is a slugg yup first thing that was done was timing belt
  14. alright how do i tell the differance, in the future id like to run manual locking hubs and id rather have the tx10 rather then the auto version cause i know the auto one has 2 pumps and causes a problem if you were to run manual hubs
  15. Sweet thank you, how do I tell if its the tx10 or another tcase?
  16. hi there im new to the cite, so sorry if im in the wrong area. My question is when i do the swap do i need the tcase from the manual tran? or are they both the same. any one done this swap that ran in to some big problems?
