I wasn't driving, but the family had a maroon, 4-door Olds Delta 88 and a late-70's, 4-door green Toyota Corolla wagon with a stick shift. Looked like these, only much more beat-up since they had age on them when we had them:

I hope South Carolina stomps a mudhole in A&M. I have nothing against the organization, but the fans are so obnoxious. I know several that have already started posting on Facebook and talking smack to me about how they're going to whip LSU in November, and I'm like, "Are you serious? A&M will be in good shape if they're 5-6 when they play LSU. . . "
Anyway, I ban myself for multiple offenses - bringing up football, not banning the person above me, and for smelling of elderberries.

^^ Banned for not placing a large sum of dinero on South Carolina to cover the over against A&M two weeks from today

I just bought some KYB's off a guy in the For Sale section that he had on his 04. He ran the trap out for me on fitment:
ARB lists the same exact strut part # for 96-04, KYB has a different number for 96-99 and 00-04. I looked at the specs, the 00-04 KYB has 5/8" less extended and closed length than the 96-99. The KYB is an original equipment replacement, the ARB is meant to be used with a lift spring. It appears that the years are interchangeable between 96-04.Not sure if that answers your question, but that 5/8" less extension shouldn't be an issue except in the most serious of off-roading situations.

I think this has been asked before, but I'm hazy on it and can't find the topic via search. Will front struts for a 2004 (KYB brand) fit my 96? I want to say yes, but not 100% so if anyone can chime in that knows for sure, please do!

The town leading into the park, Gatlinburg, is an absolute tourist attraction, but was interesting to see a crossection of just exactly who was traveling, and to grab dinner. From there we headed into the park:
I also decided to change my oil in the beach parking lot (it had been 3700 miles in high heat). This would be the hottest oil change I've ever done haha. 97* with high humidity made me sweat like The King himself. No issue with the maintenance though, luckily.
Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg: have you ever seen so many pancake restaurants in your life? Lol
For the oil change, have you ever considered a Fumoto Valve? Best $25 I've ever spent on a vehicle.

Banned for pointing it out again once the obviousness has already been established; thus earning the title "Captain."
