  1. another option that would definitely get you to school until you can find a more permanent rack you like, is get a cheapy from walmart, or similar store that sells cheap crap, and throw on a set of bars that are like a base mount for a ski rack.

I bought one from walmart for like $20. Mount your basket on top of that and you're off to college.

replace with an actual rack system later

  2. correct me if i'm wrong, but my understanding for getting an aftermarket trans cooler is due to the factory cooler clogging and starving the trans? So, if people are adding an aftermarket cooler while still using the factory cooler, don't you still run the risk of a clogged factory cooler and a starved trans?

I want to put an aftermarket cooler on and delete the factory, so would the 70268 B&M be sufficient as a stand alone or should I go bigger?

this is my daily driver that'll see some occasional light trailer towing and maybe a trip or 2 to the dunes to play in the sand.

  3. My '95 pathy still has the OE rustastic exhaust with the ever popular exhaust tick. I just picked this rig up last month and slowly replacing the old, broken and wore out parts. I'm wanting to put on a set of headers and a full 2 1/2" exhaust, but the piece i'm not happy with is the Y-pipe. I'd hate to put on free flowing headers, choke it down to a OE replaced Y-pipe then free flow again to a 2 1/2" from there back.

What are people using that have a free flowing exhaust to avoid the up-down-up steps in the exhaust?

    thanks

  4. WOW what an ordeal. Tried to register over the weekend, didn't workout, but persistance pays off. Here I am with posting abilities.

I'm new to the forum and Nissan all together. Recently picked up a 95 pathy xe VG30, 4x4, completely virgin and stock. I'm pretty sure it still has the original shocks, it's a bit wandery and soft. New shock on order.

I'm from Oregon and i'm looking forward to playin around with the pathfinder and gettin it lifted and looking good.
