  1. I agree , the second pic of unccpathfinder is better all the way around . Not into chics flipping me off . Nice rig though , yes sir !!
  2. well tmoore4512 , I have done nothing to it cuz I'm not sure that is it to be honest . And I'm a lazy ass . I did look under the hood then my beer spilled on the driveway and that took over my attention span and top priority list . My reasoning is , why not when it is cool out ? Like in the morning I drive to work and the dash lights don't come on . So it is heat related some how . And when they do come on when I'm driving home they will shut off once I get going again If I get stopped at a long stop light they may or may not display again but once I get moving again the lights will shut off . I don't run my a/c so I don't see any extra drain on my alternator or charging system . So I'm more confused than I usually am . I'm thinking more of a cooling system problem myself . Thanks for asking partner ....
  3. WHOA !! Great helpful replies there . Very impressed and appreciative . What Precise1 said there I will check first thing Saturday morning . Or that afternoon depending on if I'm over served Friday night . Put a new battery in it about two months ago . ( check this out , first day on a new job I jump in the Finder Machine and it won't start . I looked up and said " Lord , you have to be kidding me !! Please make it start ." I got just enough juice from the battery and she fired right up . Straight to AutoZone I drove and swapped the battery right in the parking lot and still made it on time to work !! True story ) . But as I digress , that front fender is really rusted bad and I'll check and clean cables first . Cross my fingers the altenator is good . Today now at 100 degrees here and I'll be damn if I didn't hit every traffic light on the way home today so I was worried when the lights came on a little bit soon on my drive home . But it runs fine still , stopped and got a coffee and pack of Camels and she fired right back up . Accelerates fine, doesn't run rough or anything I would troubleshoot as a power failure situation . But then again , what do I know . I'm an idiot . Roger that kyle94 on the tire thing . I'll get the info and post it on my profile there . Thanks again to all youz with the info , very nice .
  4. Roger That Mr.D * check voltage output on alt. Thank you sir .
  5. Cool weather I never see this instrument panel display . Here the last week or so we have gotten in the 90's here in Michigan and sitting in traffic the red warning lights come on , I drive awhile and get moving at a decent speed down the road and they shut off . Maybe 3 or 4 times on my 1/2 hour ride home from work I get this back and forth and on an off going on . Like , what up with that ? Fluid levels are good , no leaks from anything under the Finder , new battery an it runs fine and the temp gauge never gets even close to hot . Okay hhhmmmmmmmmmm ..... The display is ( Alt / Oil Temp ) ( Brake ) ( Battery ) . It's a 98 LE with only 125,000 miles ........
  6. I'll throw my vote towards Moi also . The " squeezin' the butt cheeks " factor looks slightly higher in that there pic . At least it would be for me ....yikes !!
  7. cool story and thanks for sharing it , it's in great shape man !! .... she's a looker alrighty , have fun with your awesome ride !!! " woody " hehehe , that's a funny name ... guess it's better than "boner" though ...
  8. Anything and everything you should be able to find searching around this place here , very informative it is when you start clickin' and searchin' around . Or ask , peeps are cool and eager to help .....
  9. Thanks kyle94 ....... I'll get my stats posted on them and the rest of my "baby" like you all have up on here soon . Nice pics of yours there you got posted . It's in good shape man . They don't throw salt on the winter roads over there ?
  10. Thanks for the welcome there Phamton01 .... I live right in the middle of the thumb area and have exciting plans to boogie up around the Tawas/Oscoda area where I'm familiar with from chasing steelhead and salmon in one of the greatest rivers in the world the AuSable river . Michigan has MANY MANY MANY great areas to off-road , Gaylord and Grayling are great for trail riding , nice narrow fire tracks through miles of wilderness or if you enjoy the sandy side of things the west side and the sand dunes along the Lake Michigan shoreline are awesome places to tool around . Deep sand and hills , atv's and rail buggies and everything you can imagine pack the sand dunes . Good family fun too and the peeps are very friendly and helpful , like in this forum . So you are and Indiana'erererer ? or is it Hoosier ?
  11. lol @ devonianwalk PaMountianbiker - thank you sir ..... Precise1 - thanks very much snow4me - hhhmmm yes , maybe so ? I can not wait to pack her up with goodies ( including my sweety ) and heading up north running the fire trails and letting my freak flag fly . As ya'll have noticed my tires and wheels will suck big time for any hard core 4 wheeling but I think I'll just run them tires down on their tread life and come an pick all your brains on something a little beefer to mount on them wheels . I'm doing the ' baby step ' routine here . First , tackle my fender flares and rust issue and roll from there to bigger and better things as the play around monies allow . Life Is Good When You Own A Pathfinder !!!!!
  12. haha nunya ..... us idiots need to stick together ...... RULE THE WORLD !! devoinwalk - is a very helpful dude , nice to have him around here I bet PaMountianbiker - serious four wheeler there ya got , she is a looker for sure . Ya know I have had every pick-up truck made (American made ) and big cars and little ones too , but my Pathfinder just rocks man . I've never felt so giddy about a vehicle before ........ it's crazy !!!
  13. well hells bells nunya !! I can do that .... thanks !!
  14. Okay sweet , thanks man . How bout just one more question please ? How do I post a pic here ? I'm an idiot .....
  15. Thanks you very much you guys , very nice . Yeppers , cutting out the cancer is what I was thinkin' also . I just love the hell out of it too . Can not wait to head up north here in Michigan and 4 wheel with it and see what she got's . Yep , posting a pic I will do . Just signed up and I need to feel my way around here and learn this that and the other thing on here . Okay hhhhhmmmmmmm , posting a pic ....... yes .
  16. Okay hhhmmmmmm , well first what a cool ars site !! So many great looking rigs and my mind is racing in anticipation of doing that there like that Pathfinder and adding that there like that one . TOO COOL MAN !! Anyhoo , just found this 98 LE on Craigs . I seen it and called on it and it was sold ,and I was bummed . But low and behold I seen it re-list a few days later and jumped at the lucky second chance to own it . I love it !! The interior is what sold me . Loaded to the nines and for a 98 everything works great . The outside is another question , but not anything I can't handle or haven't tackled before . So my first "fix it" idea is fender flares to cover up the rust that is starting to get out of hand on the fenders . Doing a little Google searching I'm not really finding or understanding might be the better word of what's out there for these awesome fricking rigs !! Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated and might just come with chocolate cupcake rewards ..... . Everybody likes chocolate right ?
