-
YO...What's up with the Jeep Bro.!!
-
WTF...yea that's strange....
-
Its got u-joints like a drive shaft at the knuckles that allow it to turn its nothing like a rear end! Have you never looked at an old ford chevy dodge or jeep before?
Nice looking Axle...wha cha got going on there bud.!?
-
Ummmm....nismo you should have explained it better C'mon man...lolright but how does the axle provide power while it rotates?
-
Either bend or welded back on off square..?? Hard to determine without being there with you looking at it...?
-
Lol. Yes it was. Stupid i know!
Nah, it all depends what you plan to use the truck for... seemed like you went this direction because you are now using the truck for other types of wheelin.? anyways i do like how it sits now.!
-
Looks really good...was this on 44" swampers before.?
-
congrats bro.!

This is not safe. You should not cut all the way through the inner sleeve. I have heard horror stories of the weld snapping and causing major accidents. This happened to a guy who tried this in the area I live and he went off the road into someones yard.
thats what happens when things are ghetto fab...lol
If you know what your doing it is perfectly safe...cut, inner sleeved, welded =SOLID...I seen it on TV so i think im good to go now...
-
I believe it is a Rodeo not Amigo.?
I could be wrong
-
Nothing was out of the normal...so I'm going to go hydro assist
-
Went and drove the 2012 frontier...nice truck but I am still up in the air...the 4.0 has lots of power
-
Thats how mine felt too it just didnt wanna move? Other then a wore out tie rod end?
I'm running new 7/8 heims..ill check it again tomorrow...the front does have a full spool...I've had welded front duffs before an know how the steering is like with it locked but something else seems to be an issue...ill let you know what I find
-
So basically I really want to build another truck or SUV...I can do without the towing or hauling part as I no longer have anything to haul...So I'm leaning towards the frontier...anyone know what years are good and what motor should I look for.?
-
Have you done the nissannut upgrade to the pump? Really helped mine but i will be hydro assisted this go round
I haven't done that yet...but it feels like binding up more than just hard to steer...any other ideas..?
-
Well my steering felt like it was gong to break something when I locked into 4wheel yesterday...I was on dry pavement and couldn't turn the wheels without the steering feeling locked up...I unlocked the hubs and it was working fine again...time to dig into this a little more...
any ideas..?
-
KOH..?
You have my attention.!
So you like those red labels.?
-
Damn, my jaw was dropping until I read this part!
this is my 4th WD21 that i have owned and your going to have to pry this one out of my dead hands to get rid of it...

To help us aim our advice, what are your end goals with this secondary vehicle? Is it to wheel along with your pathy? or some other purpose? (ex: Frontier is def going to be better at hauling lumber than the xterra, but the x might be a bit more nimble out in the woods since its not as long.)
just down sizing to a mid size truck or SUV...and of course i will be doing some mods to either one...a SaSed X would be sick...
really it is still up in the air...im just wondering between the different years what is the best option for either rig
-
So i have been looking at Frontier or and X
I trust a lot of your guys opinions and would like to here any pros or cons between those 2
thanks,
P/S im not selling my Pathy...just this gas hog
-
there you go bud.!
i recommend keeping that windshield clean and clear of and dirt or mud...its for safety man.!
-
I just sold my Calmini geared/SYE tcase. Waiting on a pallet from Stak.
Thinking about how to make an SYE in the past... I always thought a fella could cut the splines off the existing slip yoke and weld a 1310 flange to it somehow. It would need to be turned after the weld for a nice balance... but it would work.
is that going in your HB.?

Hey I have the best of both worlds, good cleavage and a nice wheeling picture
you know...some close up pictures might get me to change my vote.
