I'm really wanting to paint the stock chrome wheels on my pathfinder, but I know its a pain to strip and paint chrome. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good ways to paint them. I really want to do black, or black chrome. I was going to try the clear lens tint on the chrome to see if it would make it look like a shiney black chrome. Any thoughts?

well it looks like im going to definitely give the seafoam a try. It doesn't look like it could hurt as long as I don't over do it in the vacuum line and some in the gas tank I'm sure would make a good improvement with the idle.

Ok, I'm thinking about running seafoam all through my pathy. I have some noises that sound like stuck lifters maybe, and some ticks and knocks. I was told that seafoam is like a "miracle in a bottle" type stuff. I was instructed to run 1/2 a bottle in the gas, and half a bottle in the brake booster vacuum line. I did a quick search on here but couldn't find anyone posting about the effects of using it, good or bad. So I'm going to give it a whirl. Does anyone have any suggestions or helpful advice before I go through with this? Its a 95 pathy with 196k miles. I bought it used so im trying to do everything I can to get it running well again. Let me know what you think.

Hello all. I have a question about the vents in the dash that are suppose to blow towards you and down at your feet. My vents do not blow but it does blow through the defrost vents on the top of the dash. When I switch it from on to the other I can hear something clicking and clanking inside the dash. Anyone have any ide as to how I would fix this or how to take the dash apart?

Ok sorry i've been away for a while. So they don't make the flares anymore. I wonder if I can just find a nice set of flares off another type of truck that I could make fit.

Thats not a bad idea. I know there are a few pull-a-parts near me. I do have the factory flares I just want something that looks slightly more aggressive. I did take my stock ones off and painted them with bed armor, along with the bumpers.

Are there any kind of after market fender flares for these model years.. I've been searching and searching and can't find crap.

Anyone have general grabbers for sale?

Does anyone know if Bushwacker fender flares for a 95 pathy? or any kind of nice aftermarket flares?

Yea. I've found a set of wheels I like just not sure they are that wide.

What tire size could I get that would be wider bit not taller and still have good fitment?

Kool. Thanks guys. I feel more confident in my tire choice now. I'm going with stock size because I don't want to take away a lot of power and gas mileage because I commute a lot. So what to do about a wider stance

Hello all. Soon. Hopefully i will be getting new tires and im pretty sure im doing a 235/75r15 which is factory. My question is I want to make my pathy have a slightly wider stance, can I safely use wheel spacers and run the risk of hurting anything? I'm not talking much just a little like 1-1.5 either side or whatever? Sorry if some of my questions are stupid bit I'm new to the off-road scene. For many years I've done the road coarse racing thing so somethings I don't know about these trucks. Thanks for the help.

Hey everyone. I finally found some tires that I like and affordable. General grabbers at-2, they are a 235/75r15. I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about these tires on a 1995 nissan pathfinder? Will they work ok? Anyone here use them? I don't have a lift or anything, everything is stock. I am in need of tires and I want to get something I like. I'd like to here some feedback. thanks all.

thanks for the help everyone. I think it might be the rear hatch sensor so I'm going to try and disconnect it and see if it works.

Does anyone run ss braided lines on their coolers?

Ok so my 95 pathy has the door ajar light on and while I'm driving it flickers on and off so the auto door locks will not lock. Also I can't leave the dome light on because the "door ajar" makes the dome light stay on. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? If I disconnect the door sensors will that mess anything else up? I tried the other day but I just couldn't get the little suckers to come apart.

hello to all. My name is steven and I live in Kannapolis, NC. I just recently purchased a used 1995 pathfinder more or less just because I needed a vehicle rather then I really wanted it. But now that I have it I'm really interested in getting it off road. I use to be a weekend warrior on the track now I'm gonna be getting dirty. I've been looking for things already but have been having trouble looking for good places to buy parts. Thankfully I found this forum. To be honest I think my first mod will be new shock absorbers and I was thinking about Rancho's mainly because of price and I've heard a few good things. I've also looked for a decent looking and effective skid plate for the front but haven't found anything yet. well let me know what you guys got for me.
