thanks jeff for the excellent spacers and strut mounts.Cant imagine doin it without that extra help of your prefabed strut mounts..... it was a pain in the a%^ but a snap at the same time..you were right. worst part was waitin to get them in.... It seemed to really "tighten up" the front ride.. i love the way it looks and feels..i notice a difference.

problem solved..... mike at ac gave me full credit on rancho 5000 and i put on bilstiens,, all noise gone.. what a difference.. no sound and a much better fit,,, glad i switched.. After one month the tops of the ranchos where boot meets cylinder was rusted and all paint was peeling off,,maybe i got a bad set...

no wiggle huh?? i have to believe its somehow addinf to the clunking noise i cant isolate.. AC says they fit.... dont look like it does it. do you hear the whoosing sound as they travel?

no washers withshocks,, i added them.,,, and theres still up and down play..they cant be right,,, they make an annoying whooshing sound when driving... should have gone with bilstiens or..

should have posted the pics in reverse,,, the washers are to fill the space.. there was that much travel back and forth

Anyone running rancho 5000 getting this squishy sound over bumps? audible in the cabin... SQUISHY... loud,, very annoying,, When i installed last month went from play to this,,, Any better choices out there instead of these noise makers? i installed the ac 2" springs and these..

Rancho 5000 misfit... lots of play..... added washers and fixed it ,, thats where some of the clunking coming from... thanks ac

i happen to live around the corner from ac 4x4 parts in florida and went to speak to mike,, he told me he would make strut spacers no prob either 3/4 inch or 1 "with the hardware ,,longer bolts for me to put in towers,,, for 140.00 his concern was the 1" on top of his springs..(which i installed last month) would be to extreme an angle for the cv and drive train? i guess thats why he isnt offering them on his website?.. my mechanic said the camber would be real tough cause he had to max em out just with the springs alone when he did the alighnment last month..any input?

whats the best way to land the nx spacers,,,,,from canada/// any around in usa???i put the manual hubs on and saw much b etter mileage,,,, thanks guys

are the trim packers from rocky road a good choice to straighten out the rake after my 2" ac lift for the front struts?? i understand it will give me another Inch? got to have that level look...

definately not tire rack.... or window hatch... or lift gate,, gotta be sway arm links...,,, thanks guys... im thinking after 120k and recent new ac lift... the front ones went after a week.. they were stock.. iys probably time for rears..

if rear sway bar links,,, couldnt i recreate by pushing down on bumper up down sideways and hear noise.... no noise just gushy swish from ranchos........

subtle clunk,, sounds like the spare tire rack,,, maybe some play in the rear window or hatch back itself,, driving with rear lift open slows the noise down,, maybe some play in the latch assembly that holds the lift gate to body?? i try not to be anal but those of you know what im talking about,,,,,, http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p189/captandytoo/IMG_20111014_181737.jpg

Will the 4 inch backspace on these rims..stick out past the wheel wells on my 98 r-50? the 31x10.5 15 be a good fit?any pics would be appreciated
