when going through mud the trick is to keep the truck moving. That means keep the RPM's kind of high as long as the vehicle is moving as it slows let off the gas a bit but not too low where you stop slipping. The worst thing to do in mud is to come to a stop or lower below 2k rpm's.

I am required by law to stop and assist in any way possible.

i have the secret weapon on my 01. i get lean codes from it. when I pull it off and toss a stock filter over the hole, I get no codes.

I installed a taurus fan last week in my 01 LE. I averaged 16mpg towing 1000lbs for 900 miles from DE to KY. last year when I dropped the truck off in DE before I deployed I averaged 14mpg and was not towing anything. I just wanted to say how amazing the electric fan swap worked out for me. Before you ask, I did a tune up an oil change before each trip. My tranny is pissed at me from WV though, I thought about installing a tranny cooler before this trip but ran out of time to do it. I will probably do that before the next big trip.

Eventually I will need a full cage but I prefer to hold off as long as possible since I do not exactly like looking at the front bars thanks for the kind words. Well I been on the nissan path forever but there were never any responses after months so I searched and found this site. I have owned my Pathfinder for over two years and the work I've done is the basics; Maintenance, CAI, Custom catback (2.5"), Subs, and grill work. here is a picture of my patty as she site My family had borrowed it for the last year while I was in Afghanistan and gave her some nice scrapes on the bumpers. I also own a 1978 RX7 with the factory 12A in it at the time. The car runs awesome and I love it but in less than a month it will have a LS1 and T56 as well as the Cobra 8.8 rear end. here is a picture of it I also own a SV650s. I won SVOTM in April 2010 and have made a few changes to it. so here is a pic And I used to be a member in the Saturn community but I sold my turboturd in 2008 and havent participated much there.
