  1. I have been running a 3" body lift and 3" suspension lift with 33" tires for years and have had no problems. You will need to put on an aftermarket rear track bracket to keep the rear axle aligned, longer shocks and I have put longer bolts for the upper A-arm to keep the tires better aligned. Like OH6PILOT says, makes it a lot easier to work on the truck with just the body lift. Would also recommend the 3.3 swap also.
  2. I have a 94 Pathfinder and I did the 3" suspension, 3" body lift and put a 3.3 in from a 2000 pathfinder and run 33's with no problems. Do a search as there is a lot of info out there and was really not that hard to do, and is worth it.
  3. I was able to reuse the stock hoses when I installed my 3" lift. If remember had to only replace the power steering hoses and made a cold air intake because didn't like the kink in intake hose from stock air box after lift.
  4. I just finished putting a 3.3 in my 94 and bought the pulley adapter and the brackets from him for the alternator and the power steering pump and swap went very easy. Let me look in my e-mails and see if can give you his contact info, just bought all of this in September but took a month to get him to send it, he is very busy.
  5. Like pathyguy guy says, if you have the limited slip in yours then you will have to switch everything over. Make sure you swap the front gears also or will have ALOT of problems first time you use 4 wheel drive.
  6. Check the computer and see if throwing any codes. Problem is with age can be a lot of things
  7. Contacted Thorley and was told they do not warranty headers after 1 year. After the money I spent for them figured would last more than 3 years. Will purchase something else that hopefully will last.
  8. Just did a 3.3 swap in my 94 pathfinder and found that my Thorley headers are cracked on the number 3 and 6 short pipe where they meet the collector so looking for something else and looking at the obx also. After reading through this post am trying to decide if should get the 300zx headers and see if would bolt up the the Thorley y-pipe.
  9. Sooooooo...what ever happened????
  10. Just turned 227,000 miles on the way in to work this morning. Original engine and tranny and runs like brand new, does not burn any oil, changed the plugs last year and everyone came out clean. Only problems is clutch is starting to slip but other than that would drive this cross country. Make sure you do your maintance when you should and should last forever, of course being in Las Vegas helps with the rust issues also
  11. I am looking to do a body lift on mine also. I got a quote from extreme off-road for $400.00 and have to supply the body lift. The 4x4parts body lift is the one I am eyeing also and am probably going to do it myself. Does not look that hard to do, looks more like alot of time to get everything ready. If you need any help let me know, would be glad to give a hand on the weekends.
  12. I am the proud owner of a 1994 SE-V6 Pathfinder with manual transmission. I will put pics of it on here soon but its the dark green, looks black at different angles. Only had one owner and has never been off-road and has 180,000 miles but runs like it only has 8,000. Need to fix a few small things but am planning to lift it and get new rims and tires for it. I plan on being on here alot over the next few years to get help on my pathy or to just say hello.
  13. I am looking at purchasing a 1998 Pathfinder SE that the owner is basically giving away for $500.00 because it needs a new head gasket. I am going to look at it and do a compression check to find out for sure but am wondering can this be done with the engine in the car or does it need to be pulled and is it worth doing for the price of the car? It is a manual transmission, interior and exterior appear to be in very good shape from the pics and has never been off-road. Thanks for any help and hopefully will be on here alot more.
