I agree with all of the items listed. I keep one of those big plastic boxes with a clamp on lid in my vehicles. My wife calls it my "dooms day box". The Glock stays on my side. However I do have something that I haven't seen yet. I call it my car pool partner. Glock is there to get me to my carpool partner. A Rem. 870 with a Knoxx Folder and side siddle featuring 00!

The military has a wonderful tri-folding shovel that has its own plastic case. It takes up very little room. I keep one in all of my vehicles. It can also be used as a pick.
