sorry between work, school, rain and being broke i just finished putting my exhaust on i ended up buying the cherry bomb that was 2.5 in out and using 2.5 piping cat back well its more like 3/4 of cat back because i guess when i ran over my exhaust when it fell off the cat cracked on the top of the outlet so my muffler guy just cut that piping out to close but he cut a little too close and part of the mesh holding the catalyst came out but i didn't really care as long as it passed smog. sorry about no video i only have my phone and my vibrant is acting up as soon as i can borrow a camera i will post its not that loud and doesn't sound ricey it doesn't sound like all the pos trucks around my area that sound like broken honda civics its more of a low hum and gets a bit of a growl at high rpms

got it all done 2.25 cat back with the cherry bomb pics and vid up soon hopefully. its raining right now so maybe later.

did your pipe fall off during normal driving ? My muffler was loose and by loose i mean the welding around the piping had deteriorated and it was looking pretty sad too but i decided to to jump a 1.5ft curb going 50 and my muffler just fell off then later i was showing off near a storm drain which is nicknamed "the Big ass dip" where i've caught up to 4 feet of air before and the rest of exhaust fell off i felt like such a newb lol

i'm sticking to 2.25 i just picked up my cherry bomb 2.25in/out glass pack for $22.50 and i'm off to the shop to get it all put on this weekend and i also read that too that the doug thornley headers were 2.25 so that just added on to my decision. this just popped in my head and i just want a confirmation when i slap on my body lift i will have to adjust the hangers on the exhaust correct?

it just reminds me of those dj coffins or homemade subwoofer boxes but don't take me wrong the i apprecitate the work put into it . it looks better than mine. mine is the stock box and the cupholder broke off and its cracked and it rattles.

thanks for advise sorry for late reply i was at work i live in in Norwak (norwalk ) yah i don't think my local test only smog tech cares to much because my civic i forgot to swap out the the headers back to the stock ones and it still passed and i had the piece o crap shiny ebay ones lol but that may be an isolated incident. Baffle pack like a regular muffler with baffles ? i seached baffle pack on google and all i get is lighting assemblies i have a decent muffler shop that said they would do the cat back job for me for $60 if i took my own cat and muffler or glasspack. and it would be $90 for a flowmaster knock off plus piping or $120 for there sketchy glass pack system it seems that its cheaper if i procure one somewhere else i figure i might as well buy a hiflow cat too on ebay too while i'm at it and keep my stock one for emmisions times anyone else in cali always get the test only smog i've always got it since i've had the car in my name these past 6 years?

nice job great idea but it would be a pita to put something big back there but on the aside note thieves wouldn't be as curious if it were inside that compartment as opposed to having those cargo covers that roll out or covering your stuff with a blanket or tarp

led's in the place of the 1157 bulbs for the brake lights and the turn signal lights looks way better than stock but they have to be of decent quality with some sort of resistor built in or they will blink fast but are fine for the brake lights i just ordered another set off ebay for my pathy after putting them in a friends

so my stock muffler just flat out fell off my car and its time to replace it anyways because lets face it after 20 years and lots of rough driving it wasn't doing to well anyways. so from what i've gathered 2.25 inches is the best diameter to use for the fabrication of a new exhaust and i was considered using a glass pack like this one ebay glass pack yay or nay? or should i go for a longer one? right now its just open after the catalytic converter i'm planning to get a set of headers there isn't much of an option for 2wd xe pathys i live in cali and i know emissions are a PITA but i'm fairly confident they won't check the headers in a pathfinder

testing and changing the fuses didn't help with the radio or the clock i messed with the amp, radio, meter and every other fuse but no luck with the clock / radio thing

as far as the brake lights i fixed them by changing the whole plug itself where the bulb goes in because when i shoved a tester in there it worked but not when i put a new bulb in<BR> My question is wtf is this thing its not in the chiltons manual I'm getting a cheapo/decent radio and a set of speakers in the mean time because as you can see my stereo is baller those speakers came out of a boom box just for testing since my old ones had dissentegrated . i assume i have no amp per say its just built into the head unit and i only have the four speaker stereo but idk. you can actually see how i bipassed the music only on the left side by running my own speaker wire that was when i was 15 but now its just hanging out its using the stock speaker lines till i figure this out. i want it legitly fixed not rhow it was rigged befor by just using the left channel to power the right

yup i plan to tear it all apart again with some more optimism and see if i could find a soultion. Its not the clock on the radio its the clock on gauge cluster. the rest of the cluster works except for the clock. The amp on these are built into the head unit right? because i remember i tried looking for one couple years back and no luck. btw whats the box under the radio whats behind the plastic cover. i'll try and get some pics of it later. i'm gonna go get it smogged and i need piece of pipe to replace the muffler that fell of atleast to pass emmisions here in cali and thats if the tester isn't all anal about it not being the original muffler. Most likely gonna go to downtown LA to get it all done since no one gives a damn about it over there

as far as mods it has just brush guard and one aftermarket horn, only the airbox without the snail looking resonator and the ac was removed due to an accident where i had to weld in a new support and swap fenders and grille

I need help asap cause i'm a little worried that so much is going wrong at once. First off i checked the plugs and fuses behind the cluster and the radio and the brake light and they all seem to be plugged in. Problems all happened at the same time or at least i noticed the brake light at the same time The car seems to loose power when i remove the key because the radio looses its presets on a side not the the radio only gives audio to the rear right of the vehicle and its been like that for years. associated with the radio the clock is blank it lights up but its stays blank. then my driver side brake light doesn't light up when i have my foot on the brake but it lights up when the lights are on i witnessed the clock and radio go out i was parked listening to radio and looked at the clock because it was late and then i started the clock and it seemed everything fried any help would be appreciated
