  1. SAS, roof chop, cut the fenders and quarters, full exocage, SBC, split the transfer case, 33s on the lowest COG that can tuck em, throw the interior mostly away and bedline all the interior tin, and pink camo the outside. Awsome...

O,o not surprised. but i needed to edit.

    :thisthreadisworthless:

  2. This should probably be moved to the 85-89 pathfinder section. i have a auto in my 95 and she shifts when i let off the gas. I can rev her to about 4000 b4 she shift on her own but i bring her to maybe 2500 and left off the gas for a little bit and she shifts down. i dont know if its the same with you but maybe you should check and see.

    Welcome to NPORA.

  3. hopefully it will work as good for you as it did for me. Where in NY are you?

one other tip, if you need a new starter DO NOT get a local rebuilt starter, either get a Beck Arnley or OEM starter, my bad starter experience with my 87 Hardbody was due to the first 2 local rebuild starters failing with in ONE week!! The 3rd starter a Beck Arnley one was still working when I got rid of the truck years later.

Thats for the advice. Will be looking into that as soon as it gets warm.

  4. You definitely get quicker after the first time removing/re-installing the starter, when I replaced mine in my old 87 hardbody the first time took like an hour to get it out but after the 3rd time it was like 10 minutes.

The starter mod using the relay worked for mine, starts every time since I did that.

found the mod. gunna do that this week. hopefully.

  5. before replacing it, what is it doing? The starter in my 94 every once in a while would just click when I tried to start it, I did the starter wire mod posted on here and it has been fine ever since. I would check in the garage section under the "how to" section you may find the info you are looking for there...

Mine does the same thing. She just clicks. I turn a few more times really quick then she starts.

  6. You know some prick with an 05+ is going to come in here and park his at the dealer and blow us all out of the water on points, lol.

So be it. We will all just have to meet up and blow him outta the water and onto MARS. ;)

  8. I dont own a r50 so i wouldnt know but from looking at the picture. It looks like they cut the front quarter panel to give the wheels a bit more space. It doesnt seem to be lifted to much at all when sitting flat. Maybe they just gave the wheels some more space because those guys still look like they are taller than the r50. On the height. Im going with a 1-3 inch lift.

  9. Doesn't have to be just a 97....in your case, it needs to be an R50 (1996-2004). .....it's more hard to find one with an open parking space next to it, to get your photo op.

Just out of curiosity......How would you tell the difference between 96-98, just by looking at them??? :scratchhead:

Get out an look at the sticker on the wind shield.(just jokes)

But imagine there was a whole parking lot of them. *drive**stop**get out check*"nope next"*drive**stop* etc. lol. :cheetos:
