  1. Thanks! I'll take a look this weekend and see what I come up with. I'll be sure to pass along the findings!
  2. Out of the middle of nowhere I all of a sudden get the following lights showing up on my dash: BRAKE SLIP VDC OFF They all came on after I had been driving about 5 minutes. After searching, I saw something similar (but different lights) that said teh alternator may be on the way out. All the checks show the alternator is fine, but the lights have come on one or twice over the last couple days. Any ideas?
  3. Thanks everyone for the replies. I changed the fuel filter about a month ago, and didn't get any noticable improvement. I have run some Seafoam through it and some alcohol and didn't see any difference either. I will check the fuel pump this weekend and see if that turns anything up....
  4. Replaced the filter a month ago thinking that may be the problem. Do not have any codes and no CEL. Cleaned teh MAF and didn't have any noticeable improvement. I would much rather have a code so I know where to go, but this is starting to piss me off!!!
  5. Already posted in the Garage, but I know I sometimes have a tendancy to only troll the year-specific forum..... Pathy is hard to start and has a rough idle, checked the cam, crank, and coolant sensors, all check good. Only way I can get it to start is stand on the gas while it is cranking, and probably get through 6-8 revolutions before it starts up. If you have any insight, please let me know. Thanks!
  6. Ok, checked for codes..... none. Checked the crank, cam, and coolant sensors.... all check good. When it decides it doesn't want to start (which is now happeneing more frequently) the only way I get it to start is stand on the gas. Could I be missing something from the fuel side??
  7. It will happen all times of the day and I can have a fine start, cut it off and have a starting issue again..... this time gas mileage seems unaffected, it's just the starting issue and rough idle. I originally thought I had water in the fuel, ran some seafoam through it and have been through a few tanks since. Oh, and it is distributorless and uses individual coil packs instead of wires.
  8. Have a nice long story, but will stick with the specifics: A month of so ago, the Pathy was difficult to start and would idle really rough for a few minutes, gas mileage was affected. It eventually gave me a CEL code was misfire cyl #1. Replaced the spark plug and coil, ran fine for a few weeks no more CEL. Now on and off the Pathy is difficult to start again, really rough idle, but no CEL. I have also changed the fuel filter, but with no results. It only happens every now and then..... any ideas or things to check?
  9. I swapped out my OEM hubs over the weekend and installed the Warn hubs. When I got the hub installed, it seemed like the axle didn't stick out far enough to get the snap ring back on. The Warn installation instructions stated that if the spline didn't extend far enough to install the ring, then it didn't need reinstalled. I've looked at a s**t ton of posts about the hubs, but do not see any mention of the snap ring. Any input? Thanks!
  10. 90,976.... If I have anything to do with it, there will bee 400K+ when I'm done!
  11. Changed the oil, dropped a K&N filter in the air box, added washer fluid, changed all three wipers, wiped down the leather seats, and cleaned all the windows.
  12. Slowly putting together an OME lift..... why can't this stuff be cheap!

  13. I've got the enkei RT6's on my ride (17") with 265/65 BFG Rugged Trails and like them. I'm getting the parts together for an OME lift front and rear. If I get my stuff together before you, I'll post some pics!

  18. x2! If I could only win the lottery.....
  19. I searched the forums, but only one post, so apparently this doesn't happen too often..... About 4-5 weeks ago, had a guy pull out in front of me and had to jump on it hard to miss him and not hit anyone else. Because of this, I ended up almost redlining when th etrans dowshifted... about 30 minutes later, I got the PO430 code. Interested in what it was, I had the code read and the guy automatically said "catalytic converter" asked me what happened and the pretty much said "if it's your cat, you'll know if you have a problem". Two days ago, during normal everyday driving, it came back on again. Had the code read from a friend, and it pulled the same code. Had it erased again.... I do not notice any difference when the CEL is on or off. I'm concerned I have a legitimate problem, but don't really have much feedback to go on. Anyone have any information to share? Thanks. Adam
  20. I really hate it when them damn poodles get in the road......
  21. Year: 2003 SE Lift: Stock Wheels: Enkei RT6 17 x 8 w/ 0 offset Tires: BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A 265/65/17 Minimal trimming of the front bumper and mud flaps. Drilled new mounting holes for the front portion of the front wheel wells which pushed them forward so that the molded curves wouldn't rub when turning. VERY MINIMAL modifications.
  22. I haven't had any issues yet *fingers-crossed* I'll be giving it some love during Thanksgiving weekend, so we'll see what comes out of that.
  23. Thanks for the nice comments! The truck is actually in pretty good shape and only has 78K miles on it. I've got a friend who has his own shop, so I'll get with him and we'll see what's up. Thanska again for the comments!
