  1. ya, every once and a while winter starts to get me down...but then I go camping! I'm doing a 3 day snowshoe trip through the lake country on the border of Manitoba and Ontario with a few other guys. should be fun, though I do hope it warms up a little -15 to -20 would be OK. -36 is brutal.

You, Sir, are insane. I don't even want to be outside when it's around freezing...let alone camping in minus temperatures.

  2. Thanks for your information¡¡¡¡

In the internet there are many converteres, but I don't trust. They always give different results. Your ratios are ok, is the same I thought was right.

I've comproved the last time I filled the tank, for a long trip in the highway, not too fast, I made 900 KM. I did not get to spend it completely,I spent about 15 gallons, I filled the tank back before start to spending the last quarter, just in case. This is about 35 MPG. In the city I have comproved 30 MPG.

My 2.7 TD not very popular engines, is the less powerful couse only they have 99 hp, but the consum is very low. Other 2.7 TD after 92 have increased up to 125 hp or more, so I think those ones are 25-27 MPG.

I know there's a few pathys 2.7 TD in the USA, but they seem absent on forums or other sites, I'd like to share information about it.

    Thanks¡¡¡

I know I have not seen any Turbo Diesel Pathys here. Didn't think they made it to the US. When are you coming back to Good ole Rio Rat hole?

My Pathy has been horrible for gas mileage. Don't know the exact numbers cause I never fill it completely but it's prolly somewhere around 11-12.

  3. The click and no start seems to be pretty common on the Pathys. I installed a relay in the starting circuit a few years ago and never had an issue again. Used to click and not start several times before I could get it to fire up. Mr. Reverse has a schematic around here somewhere (or was it on 4x4parts forum?). It's been a while so don't really remember but it was really easy and cleared that issue up.

  4. mines had the same problem for the past few years. Only when cold and when it's cold outside. Don't notice it when the temps are warmer. How much of a pain is it to replace? I remember that hose from when I did my timing belt. Isn't it under the intake?

  5. I had to do this with my 2000 Frontier, I then had a low catalyst efficiency code spring up. Solved that by buying a set of spark plug anti foulers from napa for $6. These anti fouler plugs then are drilled to receive the downstream sensor, effectively removing it from the exhaust stream enough to trick the sensor into thinking the catalytic converter is working fine. Sorry for the brief explanation here as I'm currently surfing the net at work lol but it is explained online in several other spots if you search for it. This won't help if you live in a state where the "sniffers" are used in the tailpipe for the emissions inspection either. Helped out immensely here in NY though.

That's the trick used on the B15 Sentras to remove the CEL when you swap the exhaust manifold for a header. The stock manifold has a pre cat that fails and the motor sucks the ceramic back into the motor.

  6. I run 2" exit Obx headers, magnaflow hi flow, flowmaster 40 and full 2.5" pipe. It's loud but very throaty. People tell me it sounds like a v8. Especially in the lower rpm/idle. Whole system only cost me 280$, but I put it all together. Nice power increase and mpg as well.

Nefarious, did you get exhaust from mandrelbentexhaust.com? I know someone mentioned them before and was happy with the exhaust and price.
