I finally brke down and took my pathy to a mechanic that has more knowledge than me I will let you guys know the verdict

Well jacked up the rear and both wheels were spinning so I'm pretty its LSD

i am curious alot of people say that my 87 xe pathfinder has lsd in the rear is that true with all v6 pathfinders or is it just certain trim.

i think i got it figured out im pretty sure its the tps i will have a brand new tomorrow i will let you guys know how it goes.

I'm Having the same issue but no codes are showin up in mode three its showin code 44 but I can't go over three grand

thats cool i will just take the front off than i wonder if there is a quick disconect setup that anyone offers. im not trying to drift mine either lol i just take my wife and kids in the truck and just wanted to make sure. thanks very much for the info.

So it should run pretty good down the hwy without to much of an issue

heres a ? is it okay to disconnect the anti sway bar on the front suspension for wheelin or does it make it easier to break something just curious because i have always had solid front axles until i bought my pathy

Would I show a code on my Ecu if I was in safe mode because I checked the codes and it said it was normal.

still having the same issue i got the dizzy where it needs to be and when i checked it with the timing light im not getting consistent spark i am thinking it might be the coil or module or both does that make sense. any ideas?

the issue started after the rebuild bought it from a friend the issue actually started after he put a new dizzy on but i can not figure it out.

clutch issue was fixed but im still having an issue with the rpm i cant figure out why my revs wont go over three grand anyone have any ideas.

YEE HAW!!!!!!! I got it, it was the wire from the ECU to injector A. It wasn't broke but there was enough resistance to give it trouble and not fire all the time which put it in "safe mode" and wouldn't let it go over 3 grand. So I just ran a jumper wire since the break is in between the firewall and dash. Runs great, thanx for the help.

PS - When I pulled the carpet up on the passanger side to get at the wire's I noticed that a mouse must have been in it a one time and chewed on a few wires, so I'm thinking that he might have gotten up into the dash somewhere's and got at that wire, Man I tell ya, what a pain in the nut sack. Hope no one has to go threw that.
Tim i am having the same issue with my 87 it wont go past three grand so i just need to use a multimeter and check for resistance on the injector clip. i have been messing with this for the last month.
