Not looking to buy it, I was searching for Nissan 4x4's to see what came up. Anyone remember the crew cab conversions that a company made a while back? They used a fiberglass section behind the front seats and had a bench seat in the rear. I saw one in person on a Toyota years ago and I have a pic of one in an off road book, think it was called companion cab or something.
when i was in oregon i saw this "crew cab" bigger then extended cab but it was a 2 door truck looked pretty sweet but didnt talk to the dude and wanted to know more about it but when i walked out of the bar to smoke it was gone but looked sweet..are those the same as the conversion youtr talking about?

The Datsun 720 came in regular cab and "King Cab" models, with regular and long bed options. The King Cab proved very popular. There was also a 4-door variant offered in some overseas markets. A covered utility body style like that of the early Toyota 4Runner was also available as an aftermarket conversion by a company called Matrix3. This was available as a "dealer option" from 1984-1986 and was called the Bushmaster. In Mid-1986 a factory-built version was introduced and was named Pathfinder
off of wikipedia
but those things are pretty cool you should buy it

hey sorry to bring up a really old thread but my gauge is acting up, anyways i just replaced my alternator yesterday because my old one was making a crazy squeal and was reading 16-17 volts so i was like okay ill replace it so i did and its still reading 16-17 volts but i hooked it up to the midtronic battery tester and it was reading 13.9-14.1 volts runnung and we hooked it up to the VAT? load tester machine and reading 14v so im kinda losted and kinda wanna figure this out. can it be a bad ground or a fuse ? any new help would be appreciated

The stock turn signals fit between the pipes perfectly and would be there except they are too busted to mount.
A cheap JY pair may find their way in there sooner or later.
Each bolt on the pulley is 60 degrees apart so your 76 degrees advanced is really 16.
alright cool thats a good thing to know. thanks
-
yeah i know it wouldnt even run right but i need to move my pulley next time so they dontfreak out.add that to my to do list
-
got it smogged today and i guess he said it was like 76 degrees advanced , i think its cause when i did my timing belt i didnt line up the timing mark pulley up right but still passed barely think my cat is going bad

filled her up and drove it to worl after 1.5 of driving the yota since the wifeys car was getting fixed. Headgasket and all that good stuff. but once i get time install my moog coils that i haved for weeks
-
yeah i was reading some stuff about that but yeah i hope my boss will work something out with us well actually the gf kinda nervous to go to work monday cause she was going to call him but if we do get it fixed might try to get a Xterra or another civic cause of gas but yeah just wanted to see what other people would say if they were in this scenario.

okay i took my GFs car to a shop to have the timing belt water pump and seals changed and i drive it home and coolant is coming from the overflow tank now and i tried to see if it had a air pocket let it cool down add water and still it boils it out the overflow, and me and my buddy block tested it and it showed that it hydro carbons in the coolant the fluid from the tester was blue then turned yellowish-green, so i topped if back off and went around the block and its still coming out. do you think the shop should be held responsible? since they worked on it ? and the crappy part it is my work haha FML all i can do is laugh cause im so stressed now...

here is the link but the pics are dead . my path was running like crap and sputtering and smoking and raw fuel coming out the tail pipe i guess it was in "safe mode" wouldnt let me go pass 2300rpms but you should try cleaning that and see if it works i cleaned mine with carb cleaner and bloew off the cleaner with my mouth cause i didnt want to hook up air to it and ruin the little wire thingy but if you try it hope it runs better and fixes the problem and then you have 2 pahtys
-
try cleaning the MAF sensor

i believe spray cans are illegal in Chicago city limits so i will have to travel maybe north to the nearest suburb.
which is not very far, probably like 15 mile round trip.
wow thats crazy, is it cause of the gaffiti?
-
my napa mixes/makes the paint from the color code and puts it in a spray can but never tried it.good luck on your quest though
-
Im pretty sure that napa can make the paint for you in a aerosol can, atleast the one in my town said that they could you should check them out if you have a napa with a paint center
What did you do to your Pathfinder today?

well lets see i tightned down this hose clamp that goes under the air filter cleaner housing cause it would leak everyonce in awhile, and then i changed the oil and when i went to start it up wouldnt fire up and when it finally did start black smoke was puffing out and wouldnt stay on for more then 2 secs, finally got it to stay on but im kinda hesitant on it and kinda man now cause i gotta wait til the weekend .
