ok so i been thinking. I have a 3ft firestick that ive got mounted on the back cross bar on the roof rack. But our fm anttena is in the windshield and the antenna in the fender is for am and i only listen to fm. So would it be possible to take the anttena out of the fender and install the firestick there? Would it mess up my radio signal at all and would it work well for a cb?

Naw no write up. I know how to put a exhaust system together. Was just wondering about how different style tips would change the sound. The more i think about it ima just do from the cat back with 2 1/4 and exit right before the rear tire. Only thing left to decide muffler type and tip style.

Hey. Ive got a few questions bout the exhuast. Ive read and read and already know 2 1/4 pipe is probably best and duals only after muffler and all that stuff that is basically been gone over. One thing i havnt read on this site or hardly anywhere about our lil 3.0s is tips. Ive basically decided that i wanna get a deep thoarty loud exhaust tone while cruising and some popping when i stomp the skinny pedal. Will any exhaust tips and/or mufflers help acheive this? I had a glass pack on the stock system with a dump right out of it on my old one and i loved the noise level and the popping but it wasnt exactly deep as i wouldve like. Also i wanna do duals after the rear axle comming out side exit. Is there any way short of having a exhuast shop bend me a pip to replace the pipe going over the rear axle or a way to get around the axle or will i be stuck with the stock pipe. Id really love to go 2 1/4 there aswell. Sorry about the long post and any typos. If this has been gone over and i just didnt search right go ahead and tell me and I'l go back to searching. I hope so. I know it's either a locker or LSD going bad. It isn't an open dif tho. Itl go places in 2wd that my old pathy with a open dif struggled in 4 high

I've had this pathy since last September(last one wrecked to friends stupidy.) and every since I've driven it there is a clicking/clunking sound coming from the rear axle when i am going slow and turn in both drive and reverse. It may do it at all speed but i haven't noticed it over 20 mph. Also when i hit the gas in dirt or gravel or brake stand on pavement both rear tires spin. I've looked and cannot find the orange LSD sticker on the rear differential. I don't know much about this truck cept what I've found out since buying it cause the previous owner didn't have much info about it. Is it possible that a previous owner put a locker in the rear axle? Or is the sounds I'm hearing is just the rear differential grinding and about to go bad? Any help is appreciated.

Sub frame drop. Used on r50 and up. From what i understand it is the biggest lift you can do besides a SAS for r50s and up.

Lots of pics aint a problem at all. i gotta have documentation of the whole thing and easiest way is through pics. once im done il get em posted up for yall. Decided to go with ODB to cover better and whatnot.

everything painted blacks commin off to get painted. everythings gonna be taped off good. ima have a clean body before painting. all dents and what not will be gone. prep and body work is 3/4 of the whole paintjob.

My dad said ODB cause it would "blend" with my existing paint better if i missed a spot on a jamb or something like that. No camo. not that it dont look good i just want a solid color mainly.

yeah i know paint is personal taste. im just wondering which will go better with my interior and whatnot(grey interior). I cant decide between the 2. i like em both and would drive em till they were peeling and dull. just gotta make a decision by this weekend so i can order it and do the paintjob by december 6th at the latest.

Flat black bumpers, rims(already done stock chromies flat black but ima redo so the color matches exactly), black nerf bars, nissan symbol black(maybe). and if only i could get a spray can of each. would make it alot easier to choose.

Hey Ima be painting the pathy soon for my senoir project. I was gonna with olive drab but when i found the type i want there is another color that looks great. I cant decide between em. I always gap any plugs i help put in a vehicle. Dont trust any manufracture to gap them properly. I put them slightly below .035. probably around .033.

The only time it misses is if i come to a dead stop like at a stop sign. then when i take off it mises/stumbles 1-4 times and then takes off and runs fine. i have noticed that it will only do it the first time you completely stop enless youve gone 5+ miles.

Probably are NGK wires. the prevoius owners said they did a "tune up" a few months ago and the 3 plugs that were actually changed and were halfway decent were NGK brand. But thats not saying much. With the other 3 plugs being 2 autolites and 1 boosch im not sure what exactly their tuneup consisted of. Basically they changed what plugs they could do easy, changed wires, and cranked the idle up to compensate for the miss. No tach but when we changed all the plugs she sounds to be idling in park at around 2500 rmp.

Havnt came close to looking at the timing. Ive owned the truck about a month and a half and have been driving it a lil over 2 weeks is all.

Gap was checked and corrected to .032-.035 as specified in the owners manual when i put the plugs in. not sure on brand of wires. il check tomorrow. i do know they are blue. As to the vacuum leak i found one dry rotted hose and replaced it when i did the plugs. it was the one that runs from below to over top of plug 6 in the very back. Thanks to all. it isnt anything that affect the dd ability of the truck just wanna tune it in perfect or as close as possible.

ok. sorry i just dont see why autolites would make it do that. Didnt do it on my xe. just my own experience. but i could be wrong

May i ask what the problem is with autolites? i ran them in my 1994 xe for about a year till i got in the wreck. never had a problem. we run them in almost all of our vehicles. never had much of a problem with them.

They are autolites and advance auto had them listed for the pathfinder so im guessing they are the right heat range. Havnt checked the distrubtor yet or the codes.

Ive got a slight miss/stumble when acclerating from a dead stop in my 94 se. I just changed the spark plugs which took away a major miss i had. 3 different types and only 3 plugs looked even half way decent. I just bought this truck and owner before me changed the wires so they are new. Any ideas on this slight miss i got? Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.

I did it just to see what she would do. one time on the mud tires. when i first got her and didnt have a gps, i buried the needle goin down a really steap hill on almost bald 31" a/t's. messin around with a friends yota. which couldnt keep up. and im not braver. just dumber. but only 2 times ive ever did that with the pathy
