Uhh, doesn't summit usually have free shipping on every thing...
-
Some people say the optimas don't like it if you charge them from dead at full charging power, to use the trickle charge instead... but I have no personal experience with em.
-
You guys need to check out nissan4wheelers.com they have a huge group in AZ...
-
Hmm, doesn't look like it's sealed nearly as well as the pathy one, hope it lasts...
-
Sounds like it might be a off brand tire re-branded by bfg and marked up? Is this how wallmart does it...
-
Also can you explain the operation of the power switch that is situated on the dash next to steering column. Does the trans mod switch affect this power switch?
Power switch changes the transmission shift points, causes it to rev higher for better performance. The switch would not affect it.
Are you aware of any problems that would occur if you kept the lockup disengaged for any length of time?Your tranny would over heat and you might ruin your torque converter.

It goes back on just fine. Lots of clearance.
Yeah, especially if the skid plate in painted gay white
If anyone is interested I've got a rancho ss that I would let go for $60 shipped, brand new in box...

Also you can jack up the passenger side of the pathy only and that will put enough tilt on the tranny that you can fit in the extra through the fill hole.

Calmini has different part numbers for thier hb and Pathfinder arms, and until recently didn't even have pathy arms. Our pathfinders have about 1 inch more ifs travel than the hardbodies. I am pretty sure the oem arms are different; if I went aftermakert I would want something actually designed for a pathy, not a hb copy...

I've never run them but have hear good things about the yokohama geolanders...
-
I run 10w30 Castrol GTX. good oil and it's usually less than $2 a quart...
-
Uhh, I'm pretty sure no actually...
-
T-case can use either gear oil or atf, reccomend you use whatever you have in the tranny cause it would be bad news if the seal between them fails...
-
Redline MT-90 is the correct weight, but MTL will work and is probably better if you live somewhere cold.
-
Yeah just do the same thing as reindexing just turn the bar a few degrees in the opposite direction. But you'll probably need another alignment if you adjust more than 1/2" or so.
-
Use gl-4 75-90 weight. Make sure it is not gl-5. The best would be a sythentic gear oil like redline or amsoil.
-
Doesn't it suck to know what the box under the drivers seat does, but to not have one :sniff:
You people with keyless entry are cool.
-
Uhh, ok, well I'm pretty sure there are some great people on that board that could fab something and ship it to ya, they're in Arizona so it's not that far... Try datz510 if he has got time...
-
Expensive one for manual trans made by Thorley, the only way to go, you can have an exhaust shop fab you up a new crossover pipe.
Cheaper ones are made by pacesetter and the general concensus is don't bother.
-
Oh come on, there's got to be a fab shop somewhere near you...
Go on nissan4wheelers.com and ask if they know of anyone in your area that can fab that up...
-
Oh oh, if it's got an open carrier in the rear I would like that...
-
Hmmm, might it be a Nissan Sani?

Another trick is to pull the fuse for the fuel pump, then run the engine till it dies, that way less gas shoots everywhere when you pull off the fuel line.

A lot of times the wind noise is caused by sagging door hinges, it allows the wind to come in on the front edge of the front door pillar. The fix is to have the hinge pins redone at a dealer or maybe body shop...
Excessive Tranny Problems
in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders

Ok, I'll say it again, pathy auto trannies are not designed to run unlocked for a long perioid of time. Anytime the torque convertor is not locked up it will be slipping and therefore generating heat from fluid friction.
I never said it will destroy your tranny, but it will generate extra heat and wear (especially on your ATF), and I would guess if you are running it hard offroad you would have a much greater chance of overheating your tranny...
