just take it out and have it tested. that way if it is bad you already have the core with you. just my .02.

it's a vw powered rail and not a pathfinder so who cares?
-
that titan on that site makes me want to modify mine really really bad. but yeah too bad they don't have one for the pathfinder.
-
congrats to you and the wife!!! she is a cute.

i have just a 3in. body lift and drove the freeway at 55-60 and i have no front or rear sway bars. like pavelow says don't drive it like a sports car and you should be good.
-
body roll is not that bad. like you said if you don't like it put it back on.
-
thanks mookie for the reply. you have provided enough info for me to think about.

i know most members that have a solid axle conversion on their pathfinders have used the coil spring setup but i am getting the front and rear ends out of a k-5 blazer with the leaf springs on both for free from a co-worker and was wondering if it is easy to convert the rear from coil to leaf spring. i would really like the input. if this needs to be moved to garage section sorry for the inconvience. i am especially interested in mookies setup.

sure we have. he can "disconnect" the sway bars from his truck.

excellent for you and the wife 88blk4x4. congrats. a future npora member has been born. yippie... THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICTURES OF THE NEW ONE...when she gets home of course.

i think as someone stated above as long as it doesn't cause harm to fellow workers or yourself than by all means take a puff or 2. but if you are like me and work as a mechanic on semi truck engines than i don't think it would be wise. besides that it depends on the employer and if they do drug testing. my employer likes to do the surprise drug test so smoking weed is out of the question. you don't know it's your time until you walk in the door. that's just my .02.

ditto on pavelow's reply.
-
that's a good one.

it's either an exhaust leak at the manifold which most people on the forum will say to install headers. or you have a valve ticking. i have the same tick on the drivers side. i will be installing headers when money allows and adjusting the valves within the next couple weeks.

i have les schwab wild country txr's on my pathfinder in a 31x10.50 they do really good. not real noisey and good enough for the occasional off-road trip. they are also off my chevy so the backspacing is different to where they stick out from the fenders. they are on a 15x10 wheel also so that doesn't help. they rubbed until i put a 3" body lift on.

damn that looks good.

i use to own a 87 suburban 4x4 with 35's. i had some stupid teenage girl tailgate me so close around a curve her front bumper was under my rear. i didn't dare slam on the brakes. so on the way down the hill she was beeping and all kinds of crap so i just slowed to 10mph all the way down the long hill. she tried to pass but to many cars coming up she couldn't so she just had to beep and carry on like a dumb-a$$ so i came to a complete stop at a yield sign at the bottom and sat for about 5 mins. with nobody coming just to make sure she knew i was not going to be intimidated by some girl in a honda civic.

my first time was out with my friends in my 86 toyota 4x4 turbo that i bought from my mom. went out to the power lines and had a blast. shortly after put a 3 inch body lift and 33inch tires on. a year later and a different mud pit later blew the engine. have owned and destroyed several 4x4 since. bought the pathfinder 2years ago or so and have gone out a few times but not with anybody so didn't do any hard trails just forest roads when hunting and light trails. hopefully through this site and the people close by where i live i can go more often.

i agree with greenenvy. i can't go a day without checking this site. i have found a lot out and even laughed my a$$ off at some of the comments. you guys and girls are great. keep up the good work.

i completely tore out my carpets and rear seat. i didn't put anything down. just left it bare and ugly. mine's for off-road most of the time anyway. you could make or buy some kind of tubing or c-channel to cover the wiring possibly then screw that down and cover over the top.
