  1. Easily get 240 hp out of the VG? Please tell me how. Sal
  2. Anyone have any idea what the stock pathfinder amp ratings are?
  3. Tmorgan4, I sent you an email offline. Herm, I'm in NYC. I have the chromed steel wheels. I'd be willing to sell em to you once i get replacements. The wheels are in very good shape, no rust, no dents, no flaking chrome. Not looking to get rich, so, I'll entertain reasonable offers. Sal
  4. yes, please , let me know. I am going to wait another week or so before i make a decision anyway, because, well, i'd rather sopend an extra 100 now, and do it right, rather then order new wheels and tires, then find out i could have gone one more size.
  5. I was really looking for the 15 inch. What condition are they in? What size tire would I use? And the million dollar question, how much? Sal
  6. that was fast! ok, 30x9.5x15, is this comparable to the 265-75-15?
  7. I haven't had any luck finding the stock Pathfinder SE aluminum wheels in good shape, so, I've decided to splurge and go for new aftermarket wheels. Decided on **** Cepek DC-1. My truck is a 97 XE 4x4, stock, not lifted. Wheels come in 15x8, will this fit? what is the correct BS? and what size tire can I fit without cutting anything up? stock SE size for tires is 265-75-15 I beleive. As far as I know the SE and XE ae the same as far as suspension clearance (or am I wrong?) Just want to get rid of the training wheel look of the whimpy XE tire/wheel package. Also, currently my truck has the tires tilted outward at the top of the tire (dont remember is this is posittive or negative), enough to create uneven tire wear. Any way to correct this before I get new tires? It doesnt look like the front suspension is adjustable. TIA for the help. Sal
  8. Thanks for the reply. A few more questions. I've been looking through the posts and have noticed everyone is saying the max backspacing should be 4". It isn't clear however if this applies to both the XE and the SE. If I do upgrade to new wheels, will I need 7 in? 8 in? Will I be able to get 31x 10.5x15 (on new wheels) onto my truck without a lift? (I do plan to add a lift in the future). Unfortunately there aren't any good 4x4 shops that I know of in NYC, so I'm pretty much on my own trying to figure this stuff out. Thanks Sal
  9. Sorry for jumping in, but it is related to this topic, and you guys seem to be very knowlegeable on this site so.... What is the largest tire that can be mounted on the stock steel rims (15 x 6.5) on a 97 xe? the truck is stock, not lifted. I need tires soon, but the budget doesn't allow for new rims at this time. Currently I have the 235/70-15. Thanks Sal
  10. Hi there, can you email me the drawing? I may have access to some scrap 3/8 plate Aluminum. If so, I'll check the local machine shops, see who can CNC it the cheapest and make as many as I can. Thanks Sal
