  1. I know it's been discussed before but I HAVE to tell you guys how much I was just priced for these parts. I just called my local Nissan stealership to price a passenger side exhaust manifold and a passenger side pre-cat (since I don't no for SURE where the leak is). Exhaust manifold is $180...about what I expected from the dealership. The pre-cat however, I was told, costs $913 dollars!! I was amazed. I actually asked the guy to repeat himself as I couldn't believe my ears! He actually had the gall to ask me if I wanted it. Haha!
  2. Gave up on trying to fit the VG30 headers huh, OzMattie?? Your headers look very nice. I'm jealous as I also have a cracked (passenger side) exhaust manifold. You should buy another set and ship them to me (at my expense).......put "sewing machine parts" on the customs paperwork.
  3. I have been wondering if the manifold bolt patterns match up with other VG series motors as well. Don't some of the 300zx's have VG series engines??
  4. I've got 120K miles on it and I'm in Oklahoma (feel sorry for me).
  5. Yeah, I know it won't look the same as a car. I've seen pics of lowered Pathfinders and they look pretty good IMO. I'm only looking for a 2-inch drop, which is exactly the drop on the lowering coils listed on 4x4parts.com I just can't bring myself to spend 400 bucks on springs. Are there at least OEM replacement springs......as in stock height replacements???? I think mine are a little worn as my PF tends to rock and sway like a damn boat or something.
  6. Yeah, I've seen those lowering springs. Kinda pricey, no?? Do you know of any others. I've tried Eibach and Progress....neither carry them for Pathfinders. Would aftermarket struts/shocks work with those springs? I mean, not the struts/shocks for lifting applications, but the OEM replacement ones. You gotta forgive me......this is my first truck/SUV as well as my first V6......I'm used to four-banger econoboxes.
  7. I'm also looking to upgrade the suspension on my 97, but I would actually like to give it a two-inch drop. Nobody seems to be down with that.....everyone wants lifts. Anyone know of any lowering springs and corresponding shocks/struts???
  8. Found your site/forum through a Google search. I just bought my first Pathfinder. A 1997 SE. It is supposed to be a DD for my old lady, but you know I'm gonna have to do some mods to it and steal it from her every now and then. Some pics of "The Great White Beast": Unfortunately the exhaust is rusted out pretty badly, the side-steps are rusted pretty badly as well, and I seem to have an exhaust leak that is coming from the cat in the engine bay. Other than that, the thing is in pretty good shape.
