  1. Hi venge. Sorry not custom they are made by Hurricane headers( I think they may be an Aussie company) But wouldnt hurt to look in the states anyhow. Just a warning to all of us that love playing in the muddy bogholes and deeper water. The exhaust guy has never seen a pathy crack both cast manifolds the way that mine had, he is almost certain that this was caused by water. ie River crossing or mudholes
  2. They cost me $750au ($575us) fitted. took the exhaust guy about 6 hours to do.
  3. Hey guys and Pezzy As you may already know i had cracked my factory cast exhaust manifold. I knew that i had cracked 1 side and wasnt sure about the other. Turns out that both sides had 2 cracks in between the ports. I had some fabricated headers fitted today . I have only driven 20 miles since they were fitted and my first impressions are WOW. I now have alot moremid range power and the motor feels like there is noticeably more torque. I will put some pics up of the cracked manifolds up soon but i have a pic of the headers fitted.
  4. Found some more pics, this is the navara petrol snorkel on a pathy looks sweet on the guard but not sure about the dog leg. Getting a snorkel next week due to one of my mates going through a bog hole and ending up with a $4500 repair bill. due to bent rods, cracked pistons and some other internal damage.
  5. Hi guys, The stainless extractors are for a a vg30de I was wondering if the vg33 Exhaust manifold mounting holes are the same. I can get a set of stainless Extractors for $249au which is cheaper than one side factory cast manifold. If anyone knows please let me know asap. Cheers, MAttie
  6. They are at a performance shop in Western Australia. will post details later on
  7. Hey guys and Pezz. I have found a set of Stainless Steel extractors for a vg33. The thing is that they dont have a hole for the EGR pipe.(i think that it is the egr pipe it runs from the header to the inlet manifold) I was wondering if anyone knew what will happen if i just blocked the EGR hole in the Manifold. Cheers, Mattie
  8. Can you tell me what brand the after market manifolds are please?
  9. G'day guys and Pezz , I discovered that i had an exhaust leak over the weekend. I thought that it must of been a gasket. I removed the heat sheild today to see if it was a manifold or flange gasket. Much to my surprise i have cracked the Manifold on the Drivers side (your passenger side) between the 1st and second port. I have been quoted $750 for extractors(headers) or $360 for a replacement maifold from Nissan. I was wondering if anyone else has had a manifold crack.
  10. The Problem with ARB & OME stuff is that to sell it here you have to buy into an agreement with ARB, then sell them at the price they tell you, if you drop below that price ARB will no longer supply you.
  11. Thanks guys, I will take you up on the offer but wont be for a couple of weeks due to rego and insurance due next week totalling $1850. Which isnt very nice of the government taking their share of $560 and insurance taking $1290. (pay a nice premium because its a 4wd). And if the beurocrats get their way owning a 4wd is only going to get more expensive over here. They are trying to bring in a license just to drive a 4wd which is a joke as on a normal license you can drive a 4 tonne truck. If you want to read more about this got to: http://www.anfwdc.asn.au/article_Detail.cfm?ID=18
  12. Put 31's on it should be spot on. Mine was out now with the 31's it is spot on.
  13. Well after discovering the price difference between the Warn Hubs i thought that i would do some more research. Us price Au Price Warn Hubs $125 ($164au) $415 Rancho Shocks & Struts $286 ($374au) $860 OME Rear Shocks Pair $150($196au) $288 BFG A/T ko's 31x105r15 $171.99($225au) $235 Thats just a few items but as you can see down under we are getting royally screwed. Could nearly fly over myself and pick them up with the savings
  14. I live about 10 minutes from ARB Headquarters. Beleive it or not you can probably get the bar cheaper over there than i can get it (including 10% discount as my cousin is a design engineer).( ARB say that there is not enough interest in making more parts for the R50) The price for the Sahara Bar is$1477 less 10% $1329.30au which is about $1020us. If you want it color matched it is an extra $220 The problem with ARB over here is that they set a price for all the resellers and if a reseller goes below that price they will simply stop supplying them. As for the states, ARB ship over container loads of stuff because there is so many different resellers that they can offer a discount.
  15. Works out about $165 Aussie paeso's. I have thought about asking someone from here if i gave them the money if they can get them for me and post them over. (gift wraped with a birthday card!!! Only so i dont have to pay import tax!!!! ) Little concerned that someone might think great free hubs, but i think that just about anyone from the forums should be pretty trustworthy. So if someone is willing to help me out. Let me know!!!
  16. I wish the hubs were that cheap over here, the cheapest I can find them are $415au.
  17. You may want to check the seal on the distributor, if water gets in there in will carry on a fair bit. If out in the scrub nothing that a squirt of wd-40 cant fix, but be warned dont put the dizzy cap back on straight away after squirting, i have blown a cap to pieces before (not in the scrub though, that would have been a nightmare)
  18. :cool2: That looks trick Pezzy, Great to see you in there getting your hands dirty too
  19. Pezzy, how did i guess that you would be the first to reply? The brand is TJM. The ARB one looks crap fitted. The info i am getting is off an Aussie Pathfinders site. I hope i dont get in trouble for cross promoting. but the link is: http://www.pcoa.org.au/forumtemp/viewtopic.php?t=15
  20. Hey guys, Been doing some research, How bad does everyone want a snorkel for their R50. $50 and i'll tell you!!!!(just kidding) Turns out that you can use a snorkel from a 2003 3ltr T/D Navara( not sure if thats what you call them in the states). you have to move the radio ariel but check the pic out and you will see that it is worth it. Requires some plumbing under the guard as well..
  21. G'day guys, Got the ARB Catalogue the other day and reading though it I found that the make a Sahara bull Bar for the 99.5 on. Now i know that the front changed from 99.5 on in the R50, the question is how much and do you guys think that it will fit on a 96 pathy. I know Pezzy put an earlier model TJM bar on her 99.5 but having a look at the pics it seems to have a decent gap between the top of the bar and bottom of the grill. Anyhow your input would be appreciated.
  22. I'm definately interested, the only problem is that postage to Australia will be a killer. I would be interested in buying a copy of the designs as i am a mechanical engineer i can make them myself. Let me know if you would sell me a copy of the drawings and for how much.
  23. G'day Guys, I am looking for new shocks and struts for my Pathy. I know Rancho's are bloody good shocks and doing research to my amazement discovered that Old Man Emu are actually made by Monroe!!!!! :o I was wondering if anyone was using Rancho RSX 's and what do you think of them.
