  1. Im in tech right now for collision/refinishing.

trust me the bondo idea is a bad one- standard rule for body filler is no thicker than 1/8 of an inch.

they're both creased, so no matter what you do , you'll end up with some slight cosmetic wrinkles unless you're looking to reapaint the area, then you can use a stud gun and do it that way, but there is little chance you'll be able to perfectly unfold a crease like that with out heat, and access is limited in the quarter panel area, so you almost have to go with a stud puller on that one

but like skrilla said, if you're using a standard claw hammer to pop it out, use a block of wood, cuz it WILL mar the surface. you can pick up a 3 pc body hammer set from harbour freight for $30

  2. well ****!!!! the jeep is already gone!! On my way back to tech today i threw a rod. blew pieces of piston through my oil pan......

gonna see if i cant get a loan to fix the pathy now. thank god i didnt sell it

  3. Its official, El Pathfindero is no more

My new tracns has internally seized up, and i lack the funds to rebuild/replace

So, I hate to say it, but i already have a new vehicle to replace the Pathy......a jeep

Its a 91 XJ, loaded, all the options that could be found in '91, including crappy ground clearance

But i cant complain, my parents paid for it........

So i'm sorry all my fellow NPORA members, but I'm a Jeeper now, not too happy about that one, but maybe i'll own another WD21 someday

I'd just like to say thanks to evaryone that helped me out with my pathy: 88, Killvox, sammyb, redpath, slick, mr. pickles and everyone else that chipped in when i needed ya

  4. Ok I'll explain the situation on my '93 a little better

    NO reverse

    Neutral=Forward Gear

    Park works fine

    2nd Seems ok

and 1st is questionable. Truck died one time putting it into that

My guess is linkage. hopefully linkage

**Interior from my '93 wont fit into a '94/95....different dash setup, and mine's an auto

  5. Transmission went out again. might just be linkage. no reverse or neutral. all the gears are messed up, my trans doesnt have a warranty either so it looks like its time to but a new rig.

Theres a 94 or 95 for sale by my place, 5 spd. looks kinda rough, and it has the hideous maroon interior, but its only 1500 bucks

and i found a 96 r50 about 200 miles from my house thats going for 2000 right now, but its on ebay, so that price wont last long.

My brother found a 91 XJ too, thats only 1200 bucks

I have no money so thats the dilemma but i might be able to borrow some from the parents since im in college and all

    WHAT DO I DO GUYS?

  6. no heated garage-only dorm room parking lot and storage unit with no heat

will check vaccuum and booster this weekend, those were what my roommate said to check. in school from dawn till dusk, so it'll have to wait till this weekend when i have daylight

  7. ok heres the dillemma:

i start the truck, runs fine until you put it in drive, then it will tend to kill over if you let the rpms fall below 1000, then it surges a few times and kills over,

if you press on the brakes when its in drive its even more prone to dying on me

    HELP!!!!

I've tried using heet and fuel injector cleaner in my fuel and it helps a little, but with the weather anywhere from -22 to 45 degrees every week here, it still does it after warming up for ten minutes.
